So my hunt for algs has hit a wall. Here's what I have.

Z
(R' U' R2 U) (R U R' U' R U R U') (R U R' U2)

E
x' R U R' D R U R' D' R U R' D R U' R' D'

Na
z U R' D R2 U' R (D' U) R' D R2 U' R D' R'

F
R' U' F' (R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F') U R

I'm still looking for a good V-Perm and a new Nb would be nice. Preferable the counterpart of the above listed.
For the F-perm, remember to leave out the last F' of the T-perm part. Also, in my original reply to you, I edited the mistake in the V-perm. Try it out.

Yea I omitted it on my alg sheet. Just a typo. I tried your alg for V and the rotations are just awkward for me. I think my current alg isn't bad I just never drill PLLs so I can probably sub-1.5 them all with practice I just never do lol

Ok here is the Ultimate Nb(tm) z D' R U' R2' D R' U D' R U' R2' D R' U R' It's sub-1 able, note the direction of the R2's. Also you can do the U+D' at the same time and if you need to regrip your hold on the R face you can do it while your left hand takes care of some of the U' and D turns.

Thanks yeah I'm going to switch to that one actually. My current one sucks (it's the badmephisto one). Can't wait to bust this out once in every 72 solves. Yeah!

How the hell do I use icube? I want to generate some images to make a PDF guide for some friends. I just can't figure out how to use that blasted php code! Is there any simpler way of getting some nice cube images? I checked out Joël's page and I REALLY like the simplicity there. However, I don't really like how the cube looks. I prefer having a cube that looks like the one on icube.

Im just starting to learn Full PLL and i was just wondering what you guys think of the algs i have picked so far and what ones Should I change. Any help would be appreciated. :)

They are probably fine, but look back a few posts for much nicer N and F perms. Also this Ra is possibly nicer than your Rb: R U2 R' U2 R B' R' U' R U R B R2 U (or to save memorising you could just do the Rb lefthanded].

EDIT: Also for the Z, I recently updated mine cause I don't like too many U2's in between M turns, also I greatly prefer M' to M, so I went for this one: M2 U2 M' U M2 U M2 U M' U' (only 14 quarter turns instead of your current 16)

Z perm. 10 moves.

Much faster and best one out there IMO.

Did you try the one I posted? It's two quarter turns shorter. I don't get the standard M2 move that most people seem to do, (I presume you use one hand to do the double flick), I'm only comfortable (and accurate) if I use the ring finger on both hands, alternating... but then that makes adjusting to do a U2 really difficult.

Ok, I have a question about 3x3x3BLD, but first here is my situation. I feel like I am on the cusp of getting my first sub-1 single. I'm getting solves that are in the 1:10-1:20 range that feel like I could be going way faster. I've been trying recently to GOGOGOGO when doing 3x3x3 BLD, and it is resulting in a completely dismal accuracy rate of less than 20%. I've since tried going slower to up my accuracy, but this has also resulted in times in the 1:30-1:40 range.

My question is this: If I shoot for accuracy, but go a little faster than comfortable, can I still get sub-1? Or do I need to GOGOGOGO and just get a sub-1 (with a dismal, less than 20% accuracy rate) to get it out of my system before I slow down again and go back to my usual 1:30-1:40 times?

My opinion is one should never bother about accuracy when practising, and just GOGOGOGO all the time. You'll find that you get that sub-1 soon enough, and though with crappy accuracy you'll soon get more sub-1s, and through practice your accuracy will slowly improve. I don't believe in single BLD that one should have a 'comfortable' speed but just try and get faster everytime.

From my experience in BLD, once you break a barrier you find yourself getting more and more similar times and the feeling is great :)

I wish I could do that, but it just so much goes against my nature. If I ever have a case where I can't remember some pieces, it's totally demoralizing to me, so I make sure that never happens. Almost all of my DNFs are due to memorization or execution mistakes - I almost never simply forget some of the pieces. I don't know if I could switch to doing otherwise.

And I'm in almost the same place as Chris on 3x3x3 BLD.
