Spread the cubies apart and you should be able to see an edge that has popped out. Usually you can just take a screwdriver or something and push the edge back down in there.
If I get a PLL parity on the 4x4x4, if I do the parity alg before doing the PLL, does it matter whether I do the opposite or adjacent parity algorithm, and does it matter which side I do it on?
Okay while I'm re-learning my crappy N-Perm I decided to re-learn all my not-so-good algs.
All the algs I'm looking for are listed below. Any alg is the potential one I may learn.
E:x' R U' R' D R U R' D', R U R' D R U' R' D’
ZR' U' R2 U) (R U R' U' R U R U') (R U' R' U2)
Na:z U R' D R2 U' R (D' U) R' D R2 U' R D' R
Nb
F
Ra(currently use mirror of Rb)
V
E: Change the x' R at the beginning to l. Use the D fingertrick.
Z: [M2 U M2 U M' U2 M2 U2 M' U2] OR [(l U' R' U) D R' (U' D) (R' U R) D2 F]
Na: [(L' U' R) U2 (L U R')]*2 OR [(L U L') y' (Good J-perm) y (L U' L')]
Nb: mirror of the first Na^ or I don't know what.
F: [R' U' F' (T-perm without the last F') U R]
Ra: Because I'm a left handed cuber (my U-perms are <LU>, I prefer antisune over sune, etc.), I prefer Ra over Rb. For Rb I just do the mirror of Ra, it's not that bad. I recomend you do the same for Ra.
V: [(R' U R' U') y x2 (R' U R' U') l2 F' (R' F R F)] Rush the (R' U R' U') parts. I can sub-2 this and I'm worse than you
I knew there was an F-Perm that was T with a few set up moves. Thanks for that one. I prefer my Z and that's the M U alg I use currently. I'll try to put more fingertricks into the other one to check it out. That V-perm is wrong. I'll experiment with the second Na perm as well. Thanks!
Alright. questions.
I've been enjoying a bit of freeslice on 7x7 in the past couple days. Any advanced guides on how to sub 10? i'm stuck at like 13.......
Second question can't remember as of right now
Since the sides on a megaminx are pretty small does having tiles improve your grip? Then you can like hold on to the tile instead of slipping on the sticker.
I was wondering if there were any 5x5 race threads? I searched, but I couldn't find one. I'm just asking in case there actually is one that I couldn't find.
