I suck at algorithms with M or M*
I always take about 4-6 sec for the permutation
Any tips?

I have started to solving 4x4. I can use 32223, but I am pretty slow at that. And after all those videos with yau-method I have started think if I woold learn that instead. What have you recommended. What is the biggest differenses between those methods. Is one of them good if I am having a special cubing style? Can someone tell me very short what the differenses are?

How do you turn Ms or M's? Because if you're doing r R', you're probably doing it wrong.

Nono, r R' and r' R are fine. But IMO l'L and lL' are better.
Yrmyknight: Practise extremely slow turning in your LSE. If your permutation, step 4c, takes 6 seconds for like 4 moves, then just turn slowly for the whole of LSE, just relax and don't panic. If you don't hesitate speed will automatically come with time.

Also understand why the algs work. Don't blindly execute them... In fact it should be intuitive so don't try to learn algs for each case. This way you know what you're doing and it's not recognition but rather just knowing what to do...

Also on a separate note do E2ME2M', not M'U2M2U2M'U2 or whatever. The former is faster although a bit uncomfortable.

I am practising intuitive F2L, and I can't get the last edge/corner pair in without mesing up the other pairs. How do I do this?

Right now you are probably using another slot to pair the pair up.
Instead use your empty slot as it to make the pair, then insert as usual. It's hard to explain but investigate why you are intruding other slots and you'll start to realise how it works :)

Two questions.
One, there is this guy at my school who thinks that the hardest part about color neutrality is the cross(just plain dumb) and he won't budge that the hardest part is F2l, not the cross. How shall I respond?
2, What store would you find silicone spray?

So I lost my lubix syringe tip (the green thing). What can i use as an alternative. I've tried putting lubix on the corner of a razor blade, and apply it to the core, but I didn't work. I'll try it again if that really is the only way.

1. Who knows? Maybe the cross is the hardest part for him. I know it's pretty hard for me, although probably not as hard as F2L.
2. A lot of stores sell CRC. I picked mine up at Walmart, but you can find them in plenty of other stores.

I want to get sub-20, would it be worth my time more to work on LL or F2L? I use 3-look last layer with no real initiative to learn full OLL.

F2L. Because it is poissible to be sub-15 without knowing Full OLL.

You can buy similar syringe tips online. You can always CAREFULLY push the lube out.

Shoot Ben an email at [email protected], and he can arrange to send you a new one for whatever the shipping costs.

I have 2 "pieces" of advice.

1). Turn slower you seem to get a little lost with your look ahead sometimes, a metronome really really helps with this. 1 click,1 turn. It's extremely boring but man does it work, shaved 4 seconds off my F2L because of it.

2). This will sound weird but I feel it's a very important and often neglected part of CFOP and that is your cross to F2L transition. I'm easily 3 seconds slower if not more when that transition doesn't go smoothly. Practicing this is all about inspection. Pick a pair that you like and plan your cross, write down the places you think the pair pieces wil be as well as their orientation. ie GWO corner in BL with orange facing up, WO edge in UF with white facing up. Then exicute your cross and see if you are right. Repeat until solid.

Do you guys know why I wouldn't be able to register for twist the web? Right after I press the register button it says "We tried to send you an activation code but your email is not valid." It makes me really mad because I just tried to make a new email so I could register and it didn't work.
