CFOP: if you see a completed edge-corner pair (with your correct cross colour) before you do the cross, is it worth it to try to preserve that pair? Or should you just do the cross the most efficient way and worry about the pairs afterward?

This happens to me sometime, what I do is preserve it to my best ability, however if I have to kill it to get a edge piece into the cross I will.

How different between haiyan and haiyan memory

and why haiyan memory is more expensive very much what they lube? or POM ??
The Haiyan and Memory cube are different in structure and performance. Both have a crispy feel but are still different.
Are there any 2x2 internal mech. pictures on here?

No, not in this thread.

Link to buy cyclone lube for xcube?

Reese Bros. you don't need to buy a new lube for every puzzle you get. The video recommended Cyclo because that's the guys local brand, I'm sure if he was in Canada he would have said Jigaloo, or if he was in Japan he would have said D39. There can't really be much difference between them all.

EDIT: On second thoughts... you guys are probably in a good position to be the first to test out different types of lubes on this cube :)

My cross is killing me!!!!

I badly need to get better on cross,in 25s solves,7-8 seconds is the cross itself.I really need to work on it for sub 15

Do I have to be color neutral for a quick cross?

Yeah it's happened to me a few times lately, I find that trying to preserve it takes a very inefficient cross, so I'm thinking that it might be better to break it up unless there's a very simple way of keeping it intact.

Hmm, I don't think colour neutrality would be a huge factor. According to this, the difference between single colour and colour neutrality is only one extra move on average.

What do you think your issue specifically is? Number of moves? How much inspection time do you use?

Have you tried Badmephisto's advanced cross video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hY_FbpdNRCQ

My average is higher than yours so I'm just throwing stuff out here... one thing I was doing recently to practice my cross (and it helps with colour neutrality as well) was that I scrambled my cube, stared at it until I figured out how to solve a cross in 8 or less moves (since it's always possible), then did the same thing for different colours/sides to avoid having to re-scramble. It might be better to re-scramble completely after each one though.

My issue is awkard moves and cube rotations, even after like 10-15s inspection,i can't get a quick cross.I only get quick crosses when 2 or 3 cross edges are already on their right place which happens very rarely.

My Cross sucks too, but I found I'm getting faster from just doing lots of computer generated scrambles (which is getting me used to quickly turning random faces).
Have you tried Puzzle Timer? there is a function in it which lists all the optimal crosses for your current scramble. It could be useful for cross referencing (pun intended :) )

Check my solve. I am using DIY Type A here.
I have not tried other cubes.
What cube could imrove my time the most?

Can someone give me a few examples of the different "feels" of cubes? Like "crispy" etc... I'm mainly curious about the Guhong, A-V, F-II, but more examples would be appreciated.
Cirspy, smooth, quiet, crunchy, speedy, airy, loud.
I meant anywhere in the forum.
Try to find video reviews where people take it apart.

No. Try to do your cross BLD and practice.

Does f2l include cross? Like when someone says they can solve f2l in 10 seconds, does that mean the first two layers including or excluding cross?
