Y perm swaps two opposite corners. You probably don't want to use 3 cycles, but the A perms will do that. I suggest T or J perms for adjacent swaps.

What is the shortest/fastest alg to move an edge LF edge to any of the R edges on a pyraminx

I use Oka and I do the second edge 3 move thing, but sometimes after I keyhole the centers, the edge I need is in the wrong place.
So I either need an alg to move it into the right layer, or two algs to switch it with the edge in its place. (one for oriented the other for the other orientation)
I hope this makes sense.

Is jigaloo a good lube for FII? also i know that this has probrably been posted but i just joined so srry. also happy new years eve

what are some good algs for F-perm, N(a) and N(b)?

I use 2 different Fs(the V and the T), and I dont worry about N since they are extremely rare for me, so I haven't looked for better ones.

F(V) - (R' U2 R') d' (R' F' R2 U') (R' U') (R' F R) d' L
F(T) - (R' U' F') (R U R' U' R' F R2) (U' R' U' R) (U R' U R)

For Ns look in the PLL wiki.

Ah ha! you just requested my two favourite algs :)
for F - I use the F(T) one that Havo mentioned - it flows soooo nicely.

For the N's you'll want to use these:

N(b): z D' R U' R2' D R' U D' R U' R2' D R' U R' (I tweaked the R2 direction from how it normally appears in the database to make it flow nicer)

N(a): eh, hmmm, my alg doesn't seem to be in the database :( That's weird. Ok, I use z U R' D R2 U' R D' U R' D R2 U' R D' R which is just the same as above but with all the U and D's swapped. But this one isn't as nice as N(b), I notice there are other interesting ones in the wiki I may try some of those out.
