I know this is not the answer you were hoping for, but; I don't think Square1 is very intuitive, so you might aswell learn ALL of the algs. on Lars V's site if you want to be fast. This is iiiit!

I found them here, but since they're not making v2's anymore, I'm guessing they'll be out of stock any day now. Besides that, you can look on ebay, although you might have to buy the cups and the mat along with it.

For the Dayan+mf8, I understand there aren't many mods you can do. You just need to break it in a LOT. As for lubing, you should disassemble the core and lube inside that (video here).

For the SS 5x5, I never found lubing it to be very helpful, but a bit of silicone spray never hurts. There's a mod you can do to it shown here that works very well.

Have two questions here.

1st : Is this useful? I'm completly intuitive so I'm nt sure if I should spent my time learning those.

2nd : Is there any guide on how to separate the pieces of my zhanchi to take the torpedos/anchors out? Mine won't open
