I just got 2 DIY cubes, Zhanchi and Guhong v2. How can I tell which is which? One of them is already assembled, i think it's the guhong, because it doesn't feel like my zhanchi, but how can i be sure?

Rotate the U face 45 degrees and lift up on the UF piece (as though you were trying to disassemble a store bought, but dont pull hard enough to get any pieces out). This will expose the side of the edge piece directly below your thumb, the side with the split down it where the two halves of the edge join. If you see a ridge at the side closest to the core, like a really tiny quarter pipe then you are looking at a zhanchi. If its flat all the way back its a guhong 2.

This way you dont have to disassemble anything. If you look at the pics of the assembled edge pieces in the links above, you will be able to spot the quarter pipe ridge really easily:

On the 6x6 if you hit parity for a LL opposite edge swap, why must you only rotate the two inner R layers for the R2s whereas on the 4x4 you can rotate the inner and outer R slices on R2? Ie on 4x4 I do Rr2 U2 Rr2 Uu2 Rr2 u2

Alg finder program?

I'm wondering if there is a program that will solve specific case with many different combos. Then afterward allow you to query for the alg you want. For example an alg with fewest moves, or only R and U turns.

Can I get the WO Advanced method algorithms for inserting the centers in one algo?

And Can I also get the algorithms for the part where Erik solves 'The back piece' in his tutorial? I mean All the 4 edges in one shot, I'm not entirely sure wheter I could call it Polish V and if so, could you please list those algorithms?

And the last question, is asking multiple questions allowed in this thread?

Oh yeah, and his tutorial is here... (7:55)

Can someone link me to a 4x4 blindfold tutorial? I can't find a video tutorial. Also what is harder or takes more memory a 4x4 bld or 2 3x3's?

look in the description of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KeME7rurf9k
a 4x4 has 56 stickers to memorize (24 centers/edges and 8 corners), 2 3x3s have 40 (each 3x3 has 12 edges and 8 corners)
I don't do BLD but I would think 2 3x3s are going to be easier than a 4x4 but I'm not sure.
