On a zhanchi they say its perfect tension range is very small. But how do you get it?
What i did is that i looked for corner cutting. I tightened it all the way and loosened it till it could corner cut about 40 degress or so. then i stopped turning.
But this way I wont reach its 'perfect' tension, it will be too tight, no?

I use left index for F' when its free, but otherwise i use a RFU push with right index.
I also execute U2 as U U . I can do antisune in 0.6 with this(and almost same sune,a little slower though )
Is it worth it to switch to the thumb for F moves and do proper U2 and D2 finger tricks? I dont use them, will have to practice, just asking if they will be worth the practice
Also, any other finger tricks you guys suggest, I dont really use any, just normal index for U and F, ring for B and D. wrist for R and L are welcome.

So I have recently achieved sub-30 times with CFOP but around 1 month ago I learned Roux, and as I have practiced it I have found that I like it much more, I want to switch, but it will majorly set me back on my times. Is a switch worth it? Has anyone else done it, if so how has it gone?

I switched from CFOP to Roux when I was at about 28 seconds. 8ish months later, I'm nearly sub 20 with Roux and boy am I glad I switched. If you enjoy Roux more, then by all means switch. Remember, fun is the reason you started cubing to begin with.

Bump

I guess your F's are ok, as long as you try to use your left index finger for F' whenever you have the chance and your right finger when you have no other choice, not the other way around. As for the U2s, I'd recommend learning the proper finger tricks, but if you really can do a U U faster (which I doubt, but who knows?), then maybe you should stick with that.

I think when you get to that level, all you can do is practice. Get your OLLs and PLLs faster, use a metronome to speed up your F2L, and try using more of that inspection time to plan out your 1st F2L pair.
