Yeah but what if he doesn't do it intuitively. What if he has visual recognition of each and every case and does it algorithmically like a robot?

And who da heck is BigGreen lol he doesn't even have a WCA profile. Wow he has 2 accounts. Lol he is like sub 12 thats not sub 9!

You're stupid.
Kthxbai.
To be fair, you're not as much stupid as you are ignorant. But at least (it seems like) you try to help, even when you're flat-out wrong.

Roux is capable of extremely good times, and just because something is intuitive doesn't mean it's slow. Heck, some people (i.e. me) work better with intuitive solves than algorithmic ones.
As for BigGreen: His WCA profile has a 10.80 average with a 8.18 single, and NO 12.xy average.
I don't even know the guy and I can tell you're wrong. Sheesh.

Also, just because you don't like Roux doesn't mean it's bad. It just means either: a) you don't understand the method and are very prejudice to anything involving intuition, or b) it's just not your style, and you simply shouldn't use it.

Edit:
I hope that you realize that after some time of real cubing. It's easy to be fast. It's easy to track pieces. It's easy to look ahead. Doesn't matter which one of "the big 4" methods you use.
Yeah, pretty much what he said.

Oh jorghi, not again. Come on, you're worse than I was back in like April.
*hysterical laughter*
*terribly serious face* Much worse.

But really... M slices suck? Is that an opinion or a statement?
And... Limited move group?
In blockbuilding...? Really?
If you are talking about MU, that's in fact an advantage to ease of fingertricks.

the us nationals finished 2 days ago and lubix cube (donovan and ben were there) would they still be returning or would they be home now? only asking as i can't get a reply from them.

What would be the most advisable thing to do after learning Full OLL to help me with my 3x3 times e.g. ZBF2L, Practicing algs. (Just cause i want to take a step in the right direction).

Any tips or tricks that I should learn? (besides better look ahead, I'm working on that) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tj2D7In5VUw Thanks!

You seem to have the same problem I have... finding the first pair after cross. See if you can find some way to reduce that gap and it should (from your video) knock at least a second off your average.

is this the shenshou VIII thats very good? the one alot of people are using?

I was literally coming to ask this very same question. lol Along with a couple others that is.

1) Has anyone tried a Zhanchi with C4Y core and hardware yet? I've switched out the stock Dayan core on every single one of my Dayak cubes and have loved everyone. If I ever decide to get a Zhanchi I'd probably do the same, but was wondering if anyone had tried it yet and what their results were like.

2) Right now I'm using my Lunhui as my main, and I really like it. It's modded and shock oiled with C4Y core and hardware abd it cuts as good as my guhong plus is faster and smoother. One of the main things I like about it is the weight, The heaviness of the cube just feels good in my hands. I know that the Zhanchi weighs less than the Lunhui but is it noticebly less? Then Zhanchi seems to be getting a lot of really great reviews, but for those of you that really like your Lunhui, how does it compare?

3) Lastly, are there any text based user reviews of the SS 6x6 available somewhere? My internet is complete crap so watching video reviews is a pain. I was hoping someone has, or will create a text review. I really want a 6x6, but V-6 just seems like a lot of work, especially if the SS6 is as good as it looks.

Thanks :)

The ss 6x6 only just came out. I don't think there's any reviews, video or text, out yet.

Probably, although I'm getting the "official" version (the one that's being sold right now is only a prototype), so it might be a few weeks.

That's fine, I can't afford it right now anyway. Plus I want the official one, so I'm more than willing to wait for some reviews to pop up.

I believe for long events the judges stopwatch is also started at the same time, then the time is taken from that if it's more than 10mins. So it loses some accuracy, but for such a long time the relative error is still pretty low.
