whats your 4x4 pb? what did you lube it with?

I suck at 4x4 so don't judge me.
PB is 1:02 ish I forgot. Reduction average 1:20-1:30 a while ago. Now K4 average 1:50-2:00.
Maybe got a sub-minute but I don't keep track.
I don't lube my cubes lol. None of them.
Diff oil occasionally but I don't like that slippery feel.

That was the only tutorial I needed. It's pretty simple, really.

The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the memory method at the bottom. I'd much rather recommend sentences or something like that (go to BLD forum for further info).

Assembled Alpha V and DYI differences?

Guys, this might be a dumb question but I bought a DYI Alpha V(Haven't got it yet) so I could do the Haiyan mod as I put it together and then lube it but I was wondering, are there any differences between the DYI Alpha V(Bought from Cube4you) and the assembled Alpha V(Bought from Icubemart)?

I need help with solving the cross. I can solve it in about 7 seconds but i want to get faster. Any tips/algorithms/methods?

Orient edges while solving edges...
Let me get my cube out and show you and example... Wait a sec.

OK so I'm not a CFOP user, and I do cross on the left. My cross is like 2-3 secs... Not very fast because I'm also a slow turner (good in roux though).
However, you can use the techniques on cross on bottom.

Scramble:
Blue front yellow top.
**L' U2 L R2 U2 R' B D R B2 R2 D L R2 B' D B' F L U2 F2 D2 B2 R2 D' B U2 L2 D' B2

First thing I see is that the orange cross is pretty easy and there's an F2L pair too.
So I go for orange.
Now, the LB piece is solved.
The orange yellow piece is misoriented.
So we solve the orange blue piece first.
While orienting it. And solving.
