Why do people usually do OH with their left hand? I'm right handed and I'm so much better with my right hand so I don't understand why so many right handed people use their left hand.

Because most cubers use RU moves, which are easier with the left hand (for most)

If you like your right hand better, use your right hand

On left hand, you can right moves easier.
If it's easier for you, go ahead. It's just personal preference.

If you use your right hand it's a lot more difficult to do algorithms on the right side of the cube. Since a lot of right handed cubers use algorithms during 2H solves that favore the right hand side of their cube they're more used to those algorithms. using your left hand for 1H allows those algorithms to transfer over better.

I'm left handed. I use some left handed algs and use my left hand...
I just do a z rotation then execute the LU alg. Likewise, if you do a z' it might work.
Just a thought...

I either do a z' or mirror my algs so they become LU (I'm a right-handed, right-handed OHer).

Recognize U pll's faster. And cross to 1. pair faster. (Plan cross, spot a corner, slow/fast solve cross blind, put finger on spottet corner, open eyes.)
