I'd recommend 20 wt shock oil for anything. There's absolutely no puzzle you'll put it in that will make it "bad" for say. And you certainly won't have to relube every day....That's ridiculous.
You have been saying that often. Do you think you might mean per se? Please correct me if I'm wrong because I haven't heard anyone say it like that before.

Oh my god why on earth would you use 20 wt shock oil? That stuff has got to make your cube crappy and gummy. I am saying this after trying my friends 500 wt shock oil on two of
my cubes. If 500 sucks I can't imagine how bad 20 wt shock oil would be. Personally i would recomend 20,000 wt shock oil with the brand name of "losie". Its not spelled that way though. Can't remember how it's spelled and its not near me.

Hmmmm. Idk I usually don't worry about proper grammar. As long as I get the point across and I don't sound stupid. Let me give it a google. Yeah, looks like you're right. Lmao I've been saying that the longest time.
Well I do have Lubix and use it extensively on 3x3's but thought that the viscosity might be a bit high for the 4x4. Maru lube is great on the shenshou but the cube being back to normal in 24 hours seems a little excessive.
Cool. I'm just going to cut through the core and the rivets at the same time using some big pliers. Don't really care if the old core is ruined in the process. Georgeanderre has gotten me on this storebought-mod trip

Yea, the core and rivets are pretty much screwed, so you won't be able to use them again. One thing to be careful of is to not damage the part of the center piece that touches the core. If it gets nicked a little you can sand it, but you want to avoid damaging the bottom of the center pieces if possible.
