Just out of curiosity, how does one become a mod?

I'm not saying I want to be one especially since I'm not eligible to become one. But I have always wondered how mods are chosen.

If you're good, report bad posts, and are active in the community, you might get picked. But most importantly, one of the admins has to like you. That's how it seems anyway, if you want to be a mod, NEVER disagree with an admin on ANYTHING.

It really depends on what kind of lube you're using, but if it's CRC silicone then a few small sprays are enough. Like two or three. Make sure you work it in well.
If you're still not sure, there are tutorials you can watch on youtube that may help.

My question is:
I am using the line:

in ACube. The result I get is M U2 M U2 M U M. The problem is that the DF edge is flipped.... Any ideas why?

With a consistent average of about 16 seconds what do you think I should be able to average on the Fridrich PLL Trainer in Prisma Timer? If it makes any difference I start with cube in my hands and stop with palms. Averaging low 2s? Eh. Prisma says 2.5 mean of everything. I guess that's accurate.

Is there any way to get faster at the yau method? I average 1:20 using strait up reduction but whenever I do yau and I get a bad case of deges near the end my times end up being like 1:40. What should I do? Is there a different variation thats better then yau? If so please tell me.

I'd say there's no set time. Just practice enough that you improve, but not so much that you're not having fun/getting discouraged.
