1. Should i get an a-V or a ghosthand II based off your experiences
2. i have no silicon and need to lube my cube... do silicon based products work just as good?

Unless you have a burning passion of hate for crispy cubes, get the AV. Silicon is different from silicone, which is what you need. You want 100% silicone, like CRC. Jig-a-Loo also works. GHII is not very good compared to the AV, although you may need to put some work into the AV by modding the corners to decrease lock-ups and increase corner cutting.

What do you mean by a "crispy Cube?"

How many algs would it take to make a method where you put a cross piece in flipped and finish f2l and then flip that edge while orienting and permuting the ll edges?

There are only 2 orientation cases for the LL edges in that case. It would be about 30 I think.

Edit: I don't think there would be a PLL parity. So with the 5 edge PLL cases, that's 10 for each, x4 for rotations, so 40. But you can take some away, 3 of the cases can be U2'd, so that takes away 6. So 34 including mirrors? 2 Cases can also be U/U' 'd, so 6 less to make 28. I'm probably wrong.

Edit2: 22 cases I think now. I only counted the 2 U/U' cases for one orientation case.

Intresting. Would it even be worth the bother though?

is it better to have the DIY really lose? Because i made mine as lose as it could go without popping but it appears to actually be slowing me down
