What's better a shengshou 2x2 (http://lightake.com/detail.do/sku.29016) or a ghost hand 2x2 (http://lightake.com/detail.do/sku.2x2x2_Ghost_Hand_Magic_Cube_Black-35846)???? And don't say Lanlan because that's not one of the option!!!!!..

Shengshou and ghost hand 2x2's are the same thing.

i have no idea what it is called, but the way i do it is:
2 opposite centers
2x1 center blocks for the other 4 centers
put the opposite centers on U and D
use only R2, F2, L2, B2, Uw and Dw to create pairs.
once you make a pair, store it in U or D
so you just turn Uw and Dw as you need to create pairs, not really caring about where the 2x1 center blocks go as long as you dont break them up
then once you fill U and D with completed pairs, build the last 4 centers using R2, F2, L2, B2, Uw and Dw, so basically just not affecting the completed pairs. then you can use a 2 at a time or even a 4 at a time edge pairing method to do the last edges, and just make sure not to affect the centers during those last pairs

Lol 4x4 freeslice.

Quick one. Just got a Haiyan Memory cube. I like it but it appears to be pre-lubed.

What's it lubed with and what should I lube it with in future? Silicone?
(Would appreciate sames of chemicals rather than brand names, hard to get Jig-a-loo/Orangina etc. where I am). Cheers.

LOLOLOL I'm going to save this for the forum awards. Pretty epic stuff there.

Should I buy a Diansheng cube?
I'm not a speedcuber at all and according to what I've seen in many videos, Diansheng cubes really fill my needs.

The only real difference other than the build quality is that stackmats can be hooked up to your computer to record times on CCT. I plan on buying a stackmat timer over a QJ but if you already have a QJ you don't really need a stackmat. Just enter the times manually.

cool cheers for that. I brought my Qj timer from cubedepot the week before they got stackmat timers :(

Yea that sucks. I plan on getting mine from stackmat.com because I want the mat, timer and bag. Depending on if I get a job in the next couple months I'll get one before March ends but I'm not in a rush to get it since I have cubes arriving tomorrow and more I want to buy before I get a timer.
