My brain is screaming inside from all the amazingly pointless not thought-out threads being created.
Make sure you know how the algorithm works. (shouldn't be that hard)

Same. I'm annoyed that I'm supposed to be training for a marathon and I keep injuring my knee, can't even walk now after tonights run <___<.

Quick one. Just got a Haiyan Memory cube. I like it but it appears to be pre-lubed.

What's it lubed with and what should I lube it with in future? Silicone?
(Would appreciate sames of chemicals rather than brand names, hard to get Jig-a-loo/Orangina etc. where I am). Cheers.

There was a thread a few months back about some new 2x2x2 method, but I can't really remember much about it. It was definitely within the past year, probably within the last 6 months. Whoever came up with the method had also published algs for it on their site. Any ideas what it could be?

I am quite slow at egde pairing, and is now searching for a new edge pairing method. I'm using the pretty standart Rw U R' U' Rw' and making 2 pairs at a time, but yeah.

Any recommendations? Any help is highly appreciated :D

EDIT: 4x4x4

i have no idea what it is called, but the way i do it is:
2 opposite centers
2x1 center blocks for the other 4 centers
put the opposite centers on U and D
use only R2, F2, L2, B2, Uw and Dw to create pairs.
once you make a pair, store it in U or D
so you just turn Uw and Dw as you need to create pairs, not really caring about where the 2x1 center blocks go as long as you dont break them up
then once you fill U and D with completed pairs, build the last 4 centers using R2, F2, L2, B2, Uw and Dw, so basically just not affecting the completed pairs. then you can use a 2 at a time or even a 4 at a time edge pairing method to do the last edges, and just make sure not to affect the centers during those last pairs

4. If you're crazy like me and want to be able to say you came up with a complete method on your own, now you need to look for a parity algorithm. You can do what I did - just do a bunch of crazy moves, keeping track of what you did, to get fairly far away from square, and then do something different to get back to square. If you're lucky, it will change parity, and then you can solve it again, this time knowing you won't get parity. Then I figure you legitimately have a complete solving method.
4b. Instead of doing some crazy random stuff, you can also try to actually figure out by yourself how to perform the parity change. It's not that hard, and once you get the idea it's really intuitive.
