That RUD E perm kinda sucks without the right fingertrick for it, so don't just blindly give algs when people can't see why it's good. Watch this to learn how to fingertrick it:

Though I would recommend for the last D' you also do the same ring finger pulling trick as the second one, unlike the guy in the video.

Good afternoon.

If my F2L averages 15 seconds and I know all PLLs except Na Nb E F V and I use 2 look OLL, what would you expect my times to be?

if you need algs for these here are the ones i use they are fluent and easy to learn
Na: (R U R' U) (R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U2 R U' R') (this is just a set up move then a J perm)
Nb: R' U R U' R' F' U' F R U R' F R' F' R U' R
F: R' U' F' R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' U R (set up then pretty much a T perm)
V: R' U R' U' y R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R (really not that hard just needs some time to get used to)
E: R' F R B' R' F' R B U’ r U R' U' L' U R U (a Bowtie OLL then a Wheelbarrow OLL with a couple of other turns to seperate them not all that fats but still a E perm)

I hope these help you just keep working and you will get much better

I'm currently learning the L perm (backward J). I've noticed that several PLL's can be done with only U, R, and F turns, and such algorithms feel natural to me due to fewer regrips. I looked at the Wiki PLL page, and did not find any such algorithms for the L perm. Does one exist?
I use (L U' R' U) (L' U2) R U' R' U2 R and like it a lot.
If you want, you could do l2 D2 l2 (Good J perm) l2 D2 L2, but I don't recommend it. You could also replace l2 D2 l2 with M2 D2 M2.
If you really have to have an <RUF> alg put the full bar on the right, and do: z U' R' U F U' R' U R U F' U2 R U R.

A question about 5x5 reduction method: Does anyone pair up the corner piece, the 3 surrounding edge pieces and the 3 connected corner edges for the "3x3" corner and the middle edge piece with the center edges that are linked to it?

1 = corner
2 = edge
0 = center

1 1 2 1 1
1 1 2 1 1
2 2 0 2 2
1 1 2 1 1
1 1 2 1 1

Too difficult. It can be done, but it won't be as fast as traditional reduction. There's no benefits really, unless you can turn wide layers quicker.

I just thought it was kind of interesting. I was playing with my 5x5 after solving it and tried scrambling it by only turning the 2 outer layers and I noticed this. I prefer solving the 3x3 part on a 5x5 cube reducted like this but if it is slower it isn't really worth it.

What is the best cube under $10 that can be purchased from cube depot?

I need some cubes better than rubik's but the same price to get for friends.
Personal preference, but in my opinion I would say F-II, Alpha V-f, Alpha II. I haven't had enough experience with all the other 3x3x3s to name any others.

There's so many different cheap cubes you could get everyone a different cube and then see which ones are the best. Although there should be some standard since whoever gets the crappiest cube will be pissed. I got all my friends GuHong DIYs and charged $15 for assembly and lube. Somehow I lost money though...
