In my opinion, you should go for the 5x5; Pyraminx doesn't take too long to learn unless you really want to get into it, and square-1 is a little complicated. For 5x5, you already know the concept and you could easily beat your 5x5 averages with a Shengshou. But if you want something different, or a challenge, try pyraminx or square-1, respectively.

Are mini magics/master magics competition legal?

@markthema3 Why don't you try making a puzzle? Fused cubes or siamese cubes are fun to make/solve, and they don't take too long or too much work to make. Siamese cubes also can help you out with 3x3, because it requires you to restrict yourself to making only <R, U, r> moves, which helps with cross and f2l. Look up some tutorials on youtube if you want to. Here's a list of some puzzles you might find interesting if you already don't know about them:
Skewb
Magic
Master Magic
Gigaminx
Teraminx
Crazy 4x4/3x3
Sudoku Cube
2 coloured cubes

I found my abandoned nearly new QJ skewb, I just know how to solve it with chris bird's 1 alg method, so:
-What are the skewb methods out there?
-Is there any modding I should do to my skewb to make it a little better and less prone to popping?

whats the better way to do U or U' on pyraminx? index finger or index finger + thumb

I can only speak for how I do it. In algs, I try to never do U moves. For example R' L R L' U L' U' L becomes R' L R L' [L] R L' R' L. Some people are good at doing U with a flick like on a 3x3, but I've never been able to do that quickly. When I do need to do U moves, I kind of half-rotate and grip the U tip with my thumb and first two fingers (the same as for R and L moves). I'd show you with a video, but I don't have a camera :(

So, just lubricated my 2 week old ghosthand I with Blaster brand silicon. My first time lubing and it didn't come with a straw, so i think I may have gotten to much lubricant between the faces. It's been about a day and the cube is turning slower and jerkier than before. However, it isnt moving so slow or looking different enough to seem like the lube messed with the plastic (Still faster/easier to turn than a store bought rubik's with no lube). I'm not so worried about the $6 cube, I'm mostly wondering if it was a problem with my lubrication skills (or lack thereof) or the lubricant itself, which states that it is safe on plastic, but might be lying. I haven't been able to find any other suitable lubricant's near my house, so don't post "Use crc" or whatever please.

I'd say it's probably too much spray, so clean it, use less and see how that works out. I'm not so sure about the safe plastic thing as i've never had issues though you could always use a test piece from an old cube you no longer use. Spray it down wait a few days and see if there is noticeable corrosion of the plastic and that should get you your answer.
