Jeez, although you average about the same as me, you're so much more inconsistent... which leads to sexy singles...
Would you mind uploading an average of 12? I'd like to see your turn style, I mean, you say your first block is better than mine, yet your second block is even worse than mine (and mine is horrible no offence [to you]). I gotta see this :D

As I've stated a number of times on different threads and to a number of people on Youtube, I lack a camera. Maybe I'll try to borrow my friend's again. >_>
Also, I meant that just for that particular average you did. You seemed to get 3-4 sec first block, and I (usually) average 2 sec for it. But my second block has always sucked, so no offence taken. :P
And yes, I'm amazingly inconsistent. Not a good thing. >.<
I've literally had times where I had things like 12, 7, 20 for times. Really peeves me off.

Omg how do you make your blocks in such less moves!? My blocks suck D:

Keep practising, trying to get as efficient as possible. What 5BLD posted there would've actually have been my exact approach as well. :P

Are tiles (not textured) allowed in competitions?

3d) Puzzles must either have coloured stickers, coloured tiles, textures or painted colours.
3e1) The stickers/tiles/textures/paint may show an image (in one colour), as long as all stickers/tiles/textures/paint of a colour have the image and the same image.
3f) Stickers/tiles/textures/paint must not be thicker than 1.5 mm, or the generally available thickness for non cube puzzles.

Ah that is strange. When I do an avg12 for first block only i get mid 2 secs. This means in averages I somehow dont bother to be efficient....
Edit: we might like to move this to PM

I have a modded v-cube 5, it "WAS" perfect, until I took it apart to clean it and added lubix. Now it feels like a total different cube and it seems to catch and lock up alot! Before I just used jigaloo and a drop of maru everynow and then. I dont get how a type of lube can change the feel and performance this drasticly. should i just get used to it or clean it out?

With a larger cube, you need more lube, and since lubix is a high viscosity shock oil, you need more of it in the sore, and around the pieces.

Can someone point me to a list of PLL algs that don't rotate the center piece?

why witeden? i watched a lot of reviews on youtube, and wit is very noisy and clicky, but it has better corner cutting. sorry for my english :(

I have the LanLan and it's really loud. People can hear my cube from the other side of the hallway when I use it during class. I think you can get some extra plastic off the witeden to make it quieter and less clicky because it's basically a dayan inside.

I've just read the regulations. I think I can lose up to and including 3 centre caps during a solve. If I lose a 4th then DNF.

Am I correct?

I'm sub-30 on 3x3, sub-2 minute on 4x4, around 8 minutes 5x5, 1:45-ish megaminx, and about 5 seconds 2x2. I have a Dayan ZhanChi and the megaminx is a tiled MF8, everything else is Rubik's brand. I enjoy the challenge 5x5 offers, so I'm considering a Shengshou 5x5, but I also would like to learn pyraminx and square-1.

What puzzle should I get next?
