i've done it with crc and it didn't wait for it to dry. Done it on a guhong, av and aIIIf
I've only done it after cleaning the core pieces (springs, screws, washers) completely. I find that crc can mix with cubedust and gunk and slow it down.

worked well

Oh, so I should clean the cube first. Ok thanks!

IMHO it doesn't really matter which algorithms of a perticular set you learn first. It doesn't really make a big difference. It's personal preference. Some people prefer harder first to get it over with. Others like me for example like to learn alot of the easy ones first.

I was wondering about something... for people who are really fast, is their lookahead good enough that they can track multiple pairs at once and make decisions on the fly about which one would be better at that point? Or are they basically just trying to find the next pair and keep moving?

[01:26] <Reese_> jakee: depends. at most ill see 2 pairs and i'll choose the lower move count one (normally the faster one to do)
[01:26] <Reese_> but most of the time i just lookaheadto find a pair

I know this sounds stupid but how should I be "fingertricking" the U perms? For CW I have to regrip once and CW I don't but I execute it in a way which gives me lockups a lot. Can't even sub1 the CW (1.0x) and the CCW has to be flawless execution for me to get sub1.
Video would be more helpful than text methinks.

I just assembled my guhong and did it like the lubix ultimate except for the edge mod. I haven't stickered it yet, but the cube feels really flimsy and has popped twice really quickly. Do I just screw it in more or is it like this?

Is anyone else having trouble with gqtimer? When I go to the site all I get is this

EDIT: I fix it. I just had to clean the cookies xD

no problem for me

or did you mean qqtimer?

My guhongs almost never pop, and are pretty controllable, so you can tighten it a bit, but it's all personal preference.
