Hello Speedcubers!

I'm a Fridrich solver (AO5 = 32s) and I'd like to try a modificaton of this method.
Someone teach me his method (I'll name it «My friend's Method») which consist to split the F2L in 3 parts, but still do the Cross - OLL - PLL.

1-Place 3 corners in the right place
2-Place 3 edges with the remaining emplacement that has no corner placed (with R U' R' or F U' F')
3-Do one F2L case

His method is fine, but I'd like to know if there is more Fridrich Method Modifications, because I'd like to learn some and see which is the best for me.

Thanks!

Keyhole.

I'm planning to go to Dixon Summer 2014, and I was going to take a look at the thread on here for the competition, but it turns out there isn't. Are people allowed to just make threads for upcoming competitions if there isn't one already? Or does that right go to the organizers?

No you can make one even if you aren't an organizer.

It also feels much more stable because you're using your middle finger and ring finger to hold on to the back side of the cube.

Personally, ring finger turning makes F (or F' for left hand OH) with thumb much easier. Most F moves come immediately after an L move (R' for left hand), which means that my ring finger is already in the position to support the cube while I make the F move.

Hi, I've been out of the loop for a little while, and a lot of new cubes have come out that I don't know much about. Generally, what do people think about the Type C WitYou v2, and the three newest moyu 3x3s?
