Does doing sune/antisune and then doing the H OLL or opposite of the H OLL count as knowing the knight move shapes?
What algs do you guys use if those are not good algs? I already tried all the algs for those 4 OLLs in the algorithm database and didn't really like any of them but if some algs are more used and faster than what I'm using, I might consider learning it.

Not really but it's fine. I do Back sune-sledgehammer for one of the awkwards but whatever. IMO, the r U' r' U' ... Type algs are nice for me.

how do i edge pair faster on 4x4 QQ times are stuck at 1:30 with 25 second 3x3 step.
I use reduction with 2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2 edge pairing atm

Edit: Also do 12 edges instead of 16.

Hi! so I didn't want to make a new thread so I thought id post here, hoping I can get some answers. Im debating if I should learn pll for 3x3x3 or cll for 2x2x2. I currently know 4LLL for 3x3 and Ortega for 2x2, with PRs of 28.4(without any skips) and 4.84 respectively. This is probably more of a personal decision, but I just wanted to see if any of you had opinions on this. Honestly I like 2x2 more, but I like them both a lot, cll is just a little bit scarier I guess with the difficulty of recognition. Thoughts?

What do you usually get time wise? Ortega can avg sub-5 easily and sub-3 with practice. I'd say pll though.
