The One-Answer Question Thread [closed]

[ben1996123]

I received a Shuang Ren from HKnowstore about two days ago and it came with a edge cap broken. While I can still assemble and solve the cube, what should I do or who should I contact to get a replacement part?

Re: The One Answer Question Thread

The screws on the ShengShou Pyraminx are too soft, when I try to unscrew them they start stripping, what should I.do?

Cube4you and cubefans

I found the url for cube4you and cube fans and their almost exactly the same except for the colours of the websites (One has more black the other more blue)
I just want to ask what the difference is.
Are they maintained by the same person and I messaged Pestvic(Who it says to contact on the site) and he still hasn't replied from 3 days ago, is this usual/
Also what is shipping like and how trustworthy is it.

One more thing, how do you pay with visa I can't find where to enter my details?

Same thing with my previous SS 6x6. The best thing is to be really careful when screwing and try not to adjust them too much.

Well I can't even unscrew it to lube it cuz a screw started stripping only after some 3-4 turns! Not sure what to do...

I push in the screwdriver REALLY hard and then I turn it.

yeah that helps to stop the screwdriver from slipping and scratching the screw. But can't you drop some diff oil or maru lube into a gap?

I dunno.
I only tension like that because my YJ 4x4's screws are nearly done with.

But you can see that the cubefans website links you to the Cube4you website up the top.

Yes they are but they count as 2 moves because an M is essentially a R L' x'

Your solution must be written using the notation defined for Outer Block Turn Metric (OBTM). E2c
Slice moves are not part of OBTM. 12a

Was lurking Fasttech and see this: http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10002273/1358905-maru-lube-for-magic-cubes-10ml5

It's maru lube for the "core".

So my question is: is there a big difference with the regular Maru? it's thicker?

Compared to the traxxas 30k/50k, how thick is it?
