I have an unmodded SSv4 4x4, but I am not very good at making it good. It pops very often (1 in 10 solves if I go slow ... almost always if I start to pick up the pace). I feel like I have to keep it under 3TPS or it will pop. I have tried to adjust the tensions multiple times, but I have not had much luck with that. For comparison, I almost never pop 3x3's and I have never poped my SS 5x5 so this is purely a 4x4 problem. The peices that always pop are 1 or 2 wings and the internal edge at the UF position. I tried my first 4BLD in a long time and it popped on the wing parity alg. It normally pops when the moves involve inner or wide turns. I really need to fix this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
My Maru 4x4 v1 has a lot of misalignment problems. I heard that modding it is bad since it already has pieces to keep it from misaligning. What should I do?
P.S. I already have the tensions set pretty tight.

So I'm new to speed solving and am currently learning 2 look pll. Sorry for the nooby question but to solve a Z-Perm you need to the algorithm M2 U M2 U M' U2 M2 U2 M' U2. The M' seems to slow me down a ton. I currently try to move it fast with my thumb but it doesn't work that great. Should I just do an R L' and then rotate the cube back? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Again sorry for the stupid question.

I think you've got your M/M's mixed up. M moves follow the L moves, so M' follows the direction of L', so M' is actually pushing the M-slice away from you.
For M though I use the index finger, left or right depending on where I am in the alg.

Quick Roux question:
Is L10P The 6 Last edges + the 4 Centers (After CMLL), or is it the Last 6 Edges + The last 4 Corners and ignoring the centers as being considered pieces (RIGHT after F2B)

I received a Shuang Ren from HKnowstore about two days ago and it came with a edge cap broken. While I can still assemble and solve the cube, what should I do or who should I contact to get a replacement part?
