When an F2L case such as this occurs, what's the most efficient solve? It's just that I was joining them first by 3x sexy, then inserting them but that must be the long way! Then I sort of worked out U R2 U2 R', then fixing the cross and inserting. Thanks!

What I usually do for that case is temporarily move a cross edge.

Setup (Scramble yellow top blue front) - R2 u R2 u' R2

The way I would solve the red/white/blue corner and the red/blue edge is start by doing an L.

Then I'm left with an easy case that can be solved with U2 R U R' U R U' R'

Then to fix the cross, I just do L'

So the whole thing looks like

L U2 R U R' U R U' R' L'

I do 2x sexy to put the split pair on top, regardless of which of the three wrong slots the edge is in, then d, d' or U2 and insert.

Hey guyz,

I am quite new to speed solving and I was considering getting the new Panshi, would you recommend it or do you think other cubes out there are better.
Another thing, are DIY better than getting already assembled??

Thanks :)

I would consider buying either a Dayan Guhong V2 or Zanchi instead of the Panshi. The panshi has disappointed a lot of cubers and there was problem with the manufacture(corners breaks)... Theres a lot of videos comparing these 2 cubes so it would be fairly easy to find the one that suits you the best. I don't think there's a big difference between getting pre assembled or to assemble it yourself...Most of the time, when its already assembled, its also lubed.

Old great Rubiks brand 3x3 with questions.

So I just found my old Rubiks brand 3x3 from about 4 years ago and it is extremely broken in and so loose. I actually want to make it an adjustable core because it is so loose. This cube is about to cut 3/4 of a cubie, which is more than my Zhanchi.

So my question is, do you guys have amazing Rubiks brands like this that you haven't modded?
And how can I make this core adjustable?

you can try to apply the methods describe here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiPPFVjja0Q but I think that the effort and money involved might as well be spent on a new cube lol. You can get the best cubes in the world for about ~12 dollars.

Dayan GuHong V2 Help

I have a lubricated 48 point edge mod dayan guhong v2 with torpedoes what else can I do to speed it up? I want to make it as fast as possible.

I have a guhong 2 with 48pem and good lube. I also have an unmodded zhanchi, just lubed. The zhanchi was faster out of the box. Depends on turning style though, I'm quite rough - the zhanchi is more forgiving in my experience, so faster for me.

I think there's a limit to the extent where modding a cube will make a difference. If you really feel that the cube is holding you back, maybe a faster cube will help? But then maybe turning accuracy is the limiting factor?

Make it faster by trimming 1 ring off the springs.
It might cut a little bit less than 45 after but it's fast.

How do I lube a wittwo type c 2x2x2 with Traxxas 50k differential oil?
Is there a video???

My experience is that the V1 Wittwo likes a decent bit of lube (30k traxxas or Lubix) on the edge pieces (which will get it on the inner centers. The V2 Wittwo has a much more compact mechanism and it was easy to over lube. Just a little diff oil on one or two inner edges is fine and work in. Your 50k weight traxxas will be fine but just add a little at a time and work it in. Of course, I'd recommend you lube the core as well. There is a good wittwo V1 assembly video on youtube:

That is for a V1

Hi, everyone
I remember seeing a site with algorithms to use to replace the least mount of stickers necessary when changing the color scheme
Does anybody know the site?
