maybe a stupid question, In a competition, a new WR 3x3 single. Afterwards a reconstruction of the scramble is made, and then it shows that the scramble is wrong, the scrambler has done a mistake during the scramble.
Still counts as a legal WR?

The scrambler has a picture of a correctly scrambled cube next to the scramble, and he/she has to check they are the same. If not, they solve the cube and scramble again, (not 6x6 or 7x7)

It would still count as world record though, I'm pretty sure.

Hey, I received today a DIY Guhong V2 and it is missing two corner parts :(
I was wondering if others when getting a DIY cube have experienced the missing of parts, and if is it common and therefore assembled cubes may be better?

To trade the last two mismatched edge pairs on a 4x4, the setup requires that the matching pieces be in the same vertical layer on opposite sides of the front face. Then Dw R U R' F R' F' R Dw'.

So, if the pairs are switched, I usually flip the one on the right side with R U R' F R' F' R to get the above setup. Is there a more efficient algorithm rather than flipping for the setup, then flipping back?

R2 Dw2 (y or y') (R U R' F R' F' R) Dw2. You can see that this is basically the exact same thing except the two edges are a double slice turn away from each other instead of a single slice turn. If you use Yau, one cross edge will come out of place, but only by two moves.

How should I work on getting faster? I average about 11 seconds with fully CN CFOP using a fair amount of LL tricks. I know for a fact that my cross and F2L is the major flaw because I average like mid 3 seconds for LL during solves. I also know that I need to start looking ahead more. How is the best way to remedy this though? I've always gotten faster by just doing timed solves and learning algs, but now it's stopped working. I want to know some effective ways of getting rid of my F2L pauses. Thanks in advance.

PS. I'm willing to post an average of 12 soonish if someone's willing to help me pin-point my fatal flaws :)

In a speedsolve speed really only boils down to two things, movecount and tps.In general improving your tps and lookahead is important and optimising your solutions. As for specific sections to work on i'd say f2l is most important right now.

Is there any best site or guide to solve the last layer of megaminx efficiently.
I already have one from kungfoomachu but i need an alternative.

Thanks
