Fastest Cubers in the UK

I think we are all happy with the fact that Breandan is the fastest cuber in Scotland, and that 5BLD is the fastest cuber in England, but who can lay claim to fastest cuber in Wales and fastest cuber in Northern Ireland? Any candidates spring to mind?

I think Tao Yu might be the fastest cuber in Ireland, not sure about any others.

Is the V-cube 4 hard to assemble? I'm going to get it, but I don't know if DIY or assembled is better. I want to lube the core with differential oil, so DIY eould be better for that, but if it's hard to assemble I will get an assembled version and not lube it.

The One Answer Question Thread

For my beginners tutorial I am on last step, EPLL. I can't decide if I should do R,U U-perm or the F2 U R' L F2 R L' U F2. I think the F2 is easier. Which should I teach?

Why are you teaching EPLL for a beginners tutorial, if it's a tutorial for someone first learning to solve a cube? Just teach Dan Brown's beginner LL method, it's very easy.

Don't forget the M-version: M2 U' M U2 M' U' M2
If you know M-fingertricks, this is just as superfast as the RU version.

I recommend either this, or the RU-version. The F2-U version is the shortest, but a bit uncomfortable for speedsolving. And the first two are easier to learn for a beginner. I think.

Good price for SS 5x5 modded

Hello everyone, I'm thinking about selling a couple of shengshou 5x5's that are modded with the Florian mod/world record mod.
I'm wondering what you guys think is a good price to sell.
I have seen some really high prices but I just want to help the Cubing community with cheap good cubes but I still need to make a good profit.
So what is a good price for a modded, lubed, stickered cube?

Depending on the quality, you can probably sell it for up to $20. I doubt anybody would recommend you though, so you'd probably have to sell them locally, or at competitions.

Perhaps you could sell them at a cheaper price to start with and raise the price later as your reputation builds. Say it's $20-25 starters. First locally or at competitions where people can try them hands on so they know what they're getting. Develop a reputation for awesomely modded 5x5s. Then gradually up the price until you find a good balance between profit and sales.

I 'm being serious about how much to uk. I would be willing to do an unboxing/comparison video video for anyone interested as well.
