Any way to fix the loud scraping sound that some springs make when turning a layer? Certain sides of a cube make the scraping noise, while others don't. So there must be something I can alter to make sure they are all quiet.

if you care about skewb, yes. I never solve it, so I'm good with the intuitive/1alg method and don't care to get any faster than 30 seconds. If I did, I'd learn something better.
Mf8-Square 1 (V2) or a Calvin Sq-1? Those are my only choices :/ I'm starting to learn square 1. I don't need a wqiuegdusniqidniandwiqdflying sq-1, just the right amount of speed and such.

1) on a 3x3, can you affect the relative Corner Permutation while doing only R2, L2, and U moves?
2) if not, what's a quick way to change CP without affecting corner orientation (besides j+y perms)

Learning to Roux.
I have a few ways of solving that for 2nd block, but either they're slow or they need rotations/awkward F turns. Idk if I'm doing it right.
How should I solve that case?

more ideal than my rotation i guess, lol.
i actually played around on cubesolver and found what i was looking for, 7 STM, same as the set up. and no regular M turns.
(U') R U' M' U' M2 U' R'
so i guess that answers my question. thanks for your help anyway
