Cheers, will look through that later. I'm bored of looking through bull honkie 'methods' that people muster out of nowhere to stick there name on. All I want to learn to do is break up missaligned pairs whilst inserting pairs, and eliminate dot cases.
Does anybody know an efficient way to practice CLL on the 2x2x2? I have no problems memorising the algorithms, I just can't memorise what algorithm affects the permutation of which pieces and how to recognise cases. Doing the algorithm to solve a random case will just give me a case from a different set, which I can't solve because I only know the algorithms for one set right now. :/

Does maru lube always wear out really quickly or am I just lubing my cube wrong? Lubed my 3x3 and less than 100 solves later it was just like it was before I lubed it.
So i haven't been speed solving for a while now and am just starting to get back into it! But now i really dont like my A-V cube and wanted to get something better. Has anything come out recently thats really good while i have been away? I really liked the F-2 so any cube like that that has recently come out would be awesome. Thanks!

Dayan Zhanchi (crispy and kinda like the AV but no where near as clicky/loud/crispy/crunchy) or Guhong v2 (smooth and like the F2 but not "bubbly") or wait for the Dayan 6.
Dayans are much better. My guhong v1 (don't have v2 yet but the only difference is torpedoes and the inside of the corners) can cut more than 45 degrees and it doesn't pop (because I put torpedoes in it) and it never locks up. Dayans in general have 45+ degree corner cutting with about 20 degree reverse corner cuts and are faster than the AV other than the lunhui and taiyan. I tried the ghost hands and they're slower and can't corner cut as much but quieter depending on the cube. Just go on youtube and watch some reviews.
I only heard a little bit about ghost hands, but what I heard was pretty good. I have heard that they are hard to find and you can sometimes end up with a fake. As for Dayan cubes, I own a Zhanchi, and it is a really impossibly good cube. However, if you're looking to get a speedcube, I'd wait until september, if at all possible. The as of now un-named Dayan version six cube is going to be released!
In theory, is it possible to solve any cube (2x2x2, 3x3x3, 4x4x4, 5x5x5, etc.) using just commutators and conjugates? Also, it possible to solve any cube BLD using just commutators and conjugates (remember, in theory)?
