well breandan just got 7:53.xx, were both practicing it. This video is from 2010 so he Feliks has most likely done better.

I have a small dilemma, I have similar times for roux and fridrich and I don't know which one the work on. Whats your opinion on this?
(btw my times are sub 50)

I am now averaging around 25 seconds, and am wondering what I should do after improving my lookahead during f2l, speeding up my OLLs and PLLS, and learning all the PLLs and OLLs (I'm using 4 look last layer currently). I'm thinking of learning some of the easy cases for forcing OLL skips, and also learning other advanced f2l tricks like multislotting and X-Cross. What are the names of other advanced f2l tricks?

Bump (this is after 4 days)

On a QJ Pyraminx, would it be possible to file away in the center 'hole' on the face where the 3 edges and 3 centers meet, so it reverse corner cuts a little in a simular fashion to a Dayan? Just wondering...

And does anyone know of a program like VisualCube, but is easier to use?

Bump (5 days).

How often do people usually need to tighten their cubes? I have a ZhanChi, and I feel like I constantly need to tighten it... Like every week, and I don't use it that much.

edit:
I loosen mine a little each month or so- to help me improve my turn accuracy.

Why do you feel the need to constantly tighten it?

It's really hard to control. I know I haven't been cubing for that long, but if find it easier to control right aften I tighten it. Feels like I could take it apart. I've been using an F-II from december to january, and I've had my DaYan since then. Before that, I cubed with a Rubik's brand for about two months, so I first got used to something really tight. But still, I've been using this one for 2 months and I still can't get used to it being so loose!
