I have a white Zhan Chi which was shipped by the "speedsolving store" through amazon. I was wondering what lube they used in it because straight out of the box it's just amazing. thanks.

Chinese new year festival just ended. Many chinese stores did not start processing orders until Jan 30th (so Jan 29th at about 8pm GMT).

Transparent cube

When I went to the cube 4you website I saw pic of 6 or 8 transparent cubes and then I clicked it to order it and it didnt ask me what color I wanted so I wanted to know if you get all 6 or 8 transparent cubes

For fewest moves, do cube rotations count as a move? According to this regulation: E1a) The maximum length of a solution is 80 (moves and rotations), rotations should count as a move but then I've also seen somewhere in this forum that cube rotations do not count as a move.

Rotations count if you write them down. So don't.

Example: For (R y R') write (R B') instead.

But they don't count towards your final movecount.

If your solution is less than 80 moves with rotations and moves, then they will start counting only the moves which determines your score.

Oh, my bad. I was under the impression that the judges count EVERYTHING you write down. Like R R is two moves and R R' too.

But then, why do the regulations state "(moves and rotations)"?

The submission form has 80 'squares' to write your answer. Each move or rotation must be in a separate square and only one form is used. So you can only use 80 maximum moves and rotations; however the rotations are not counted towards your total.
Also, (R R) and (R R') would both be counted as two moves.

A question on CMLL case recognition for the Sune, and Anti-Sune cases.

Looking at waffle's vids, he shows that all the Anti-Sune cases can be identified by having the top sticker in the FL corner... The cases are easy to identify fast...

But with the Sune cases, he identifies from the BL corner... the concluding identifications are complex (like identifying the L cases... you need to look at all the information, as the cases look similar at first glance.)

Is there a way to correctly identify the CMLL on a Sune case with the up sticker in a different corner where the identification becomes easier like the anti-sune cases? (where you can have like an x case, left pair, right pair, columns etc?.

It's kind of a weird question... so not holding my breath on a response.

Does anyone know where I can buy replacement shengshou 6x6x6 pieces? I'm missing two outer centre pieces ( looking straight down, the corner centre piece, and if that gap is put in the bottom right, the edge centre right above it) Or would I be better off buying a new 6x6x6?

any tip for F2L? I am so slow :(

Practice, practice, practice. Also, for cases that take you a lot of moves, try finding more efficient ways, or looking up algs (but only look up a few algs if you have to, F2L should be mostly intuitive). Another helpful thing to do is go slow and watch as the pieces of a pair move around as you insert a current pair. Start increasing the speed of your turns from this until you can follow pieces at high speeds.

Towards this question, For Anti-sune, I put sticker on FL. Easy enough.
For Sune, I do the same(FL) except i kinda hold the cube at an angle when im finishing the second block i can see the R side of the cube aswell. So not technically a cube rotation. That way i see the case, then execute.
Waffles puts it on BL, then most algs start with FL, so you have to do a U', then execute.
Do you understand?
