Sport stacking has been around a very long time you can watch videos of the 2003 world championship and see they are using old speed stack timers. As for the1982 championship they had a strange box that you grabbed the cube from and the timer started that when they dropped the cube in it the timer would stop.

The cubes were randomly shuffled by a computer, and were brought on stage in a sealed suitcase. The cube was placed on a small pad with with a photo sensitive diode at the bottom. The time started counting when the cube was picked up, and stopped after the cube has been placed back on the table. Before the timer started counting the time, each contestant was allowed to lift the cube and look at it for 15 seconds. Then the cube was returned to the pad. If the cube broke into pieces during twisting the competitor was given another chance. However, two break ups resulted in disqualification in that particular round (which happened to the champion of Finland). The best time out of three attempts determined the winners.

Today I wanted to buy a SS (2+4)x(3+3)x(4+2) but I see that Paypal is gone ! Too bad because for nothing in that world, I would give my credit card number to gogol. Well, maybe for $1,000,000 I would change my mind.

Well i have a dayan guhong , and you can see my average is 25ish. Now the problem is that the place where i live , i can't find any lubricants , even i went to a hobby store they don't have the shock oil. I am really tired of this , so is there any WAY to make the cube SMOOTHER?

If you live in karachi i can tell you a place from where you can get silicon oil

Paypal isn't coming back. Google Checkout is just as safe and reliable. You don't even need to register, it's just like checking out with Paypal. You don't need to worry about your credit card information being compromised.

Each G perm has a probability of 1/18 and there are four of them so: 4*(1/18) = 0.22^. It means that around 1 of every 5 PLLs you get, is a G perm.
