Kirmeep (Kirjava-Meep) method
Sarah Strong's method

As far as I know these are the best ones.

Oh wow - I didn't know Sarah had her own method. I've almost learned it already in just a few minutes - I love it! Much easier to learn and remember than KirMeep, and still relatively fast. KirMeep just requires too much work for me to keep up because of the algs. Thank you, Sarah!

@Devineskulls
I've heard of all of these. I can't really afford a Teraminx right now. I'm probably going to pick up a square-1 this week because apparently there's a kid at my school that has one laying around. I might get a Skewb or Pyraminx next. Thanks for your help!

I average about 20 with CFOP, but I turn naturally slowly, and I don't think I'd ever be able to make it to sub-12, which is my ultimate goal, with CFOP. I was thinking about switching to Roux, which I've been practicing for a few days. I also like Roux a lot better than CFOP. I average about 40 with Roux. Any opinions on whether I should switch or not?

If you like Roux better than CFOP, by all means, switch.

But what do you mean? You say you don't think you will ever be sub-12, so what is your question?

If you ask if by switching to Roux you will achieve sub-12 times, then, I think not. Getting fast is more about practice and learning a bunch of tricks rather than switching between methods.

Although, if you are naturally good at Roux, probably you'll get better times than with CFOP, I guess. But there is only one way to know ;)

Does anyone else have trouble doing the last "flip" on the magic? I keep missing the last move when I stop the timer. Also, which pyraminx method is the fastest and has less algorithms to learn? I've been getting times from 7-40 sec with my method (doing R' L R L' for last 2-3 edges)

I got sub-6 average with Keyhole (Erik has a tutorial on it). There's only 5 algorithms, and 2 of them are just mirrors, so only really 3 to learn. This guy also has some tutorials you can check out (his 2nd video on "Oka Youtube" is the same as Keyhole).

I averaged 25 with CFOP and 55 with Roux about 2 months ago or so, I dont remember :p But now im sub 23(roux). You just practice and practice and youll get good with any of the two.

Im having ALOT of trouble with blockbuilding on roux. How can i teach my self to get better? and any tips?

Blockbuilding is very intuitive. How I personally got good at it was watching example solves (I went through Waffle's) and tried to pick up from there, and simply practised, but without timing myself, and rather just trying to see how few STM moves I can do each block in.

What's the best method for CO and CP on a megaminx. I'm currently using R' D' R D and D' R' D R to orient all the corners and then uses this:
I begin with R'D'R then adjust the U layer to the destiny of the corner you just got out of the Last Layer, in this case with U2, insert with R'DR. Now adjust U again with U', this time insert with R'D'R, adjust U with U2, insert with R'DR, adjust with U, insert with R'D'R, adjust with U, insert with R'DR. Done!!
for permuting but would like something faster

My black zhanchi (48 point edge mod with torps) keeps popping, my new coloured one doesn't why is this? coloured is looser.

Have you done 48 point edge mod yourself? Maybe it went worng.

Try swapping the cores, and see what happens.
