Check out the site 5BLD and I are working on. Its not done, but the sub 15 guide is. (:

And are your PB's done with Roux?

It's pretty much the exact same thing, lol. I'm essentially asking if should I be aiming for the same times OH as I did for 2H...

And yes, it's all done with Roux. I'm a Roux solver (and average ~11 for 2H, ~20 for OH).

SSSHHHH Not the same thing. Iphone and Andriod are not the same thing, just same concept :D

How the FFFUU did you get so fast!? 5 secs like WOW...

and i believe you should.

With skill and determination. :3
The 5.33 was just me being wayyy on top of my game. I average ~11, not 5. :P

Thank you.
Only thing is my LSE for OH is pretty much the same for my 2H LSE, so each step is befitting a different time barrier...

My QJ timer sometimes shows 88:88.88 when I stop it. It happens once every 10-30 solves and it's really annoying. Almost got a 12 sec single (usually get around 17) when it changed to 88:88.88 and turned off. Is there a way to stop it from doing that other than buying a stackmat timer?

Yeah i see that. How long did it take you to sub 12?

Well, it depends on how you look at it.
I solved a Rubik's cube for the first time ever late November/early December last year, so around 11 months. I learned full OCLL ~1 month later and "proper" F2L (CFOP) maybe 2 months after that. I got tired of CFOP really, really quickly and wanted to switch to ZZ, but found it really hard.
And then I learned Roux thanks to the wonders of the internet around April/May 2011 (and I sub-30'd the same day). So, 7 to 11 months, depending on how you see it. I only started considering myself sub-12 average 2 days ago. :P

I have a question.
I'm doing my F2L with many cube rotations.
Is it better if I learn to do it without cube rotations?

The less cube rotations the better rite?

How many?
Try using 2gen algorithms as much as you can. And 2-3 rotations a solve.

Basically yeah. A few y/y' rotations are okay (y2 is never necessary) but you want to try to minimise them as much as possible. Try to insert pairs from all angles and make good use of your left hand. Also you can try doing Dw moves instead of rotations for some cases, some people find that easier/faster.

I'm doing F2L intuitively. With exceptions of course. Finish f2l in 20 secs which is a bit slow, I keep rotating to find the pieces

Yes cube rotations should be limited but don't always rule them out. If a rotation means an OLL skip then please by all means rotate as a rotation takes much less time than an alg.
