i know this sounds pretty dumb but do QJ timers attach to stack mats?

Yeah, you can take the backing off of them, and there are magnets underneath. At least, the one that I have can do that.

This has probably been asked before, but at about what times should someone start really practicing lookahead in CFOP?
P.s. I'm around 20-25 secs, and I have a lot of pauses in my solves.

where's the cheapest place to buy magics?
Where can i get a spare QJ megaminx core?

For the core, I couldn't find a QJ one, but for just a spare megaminx core, I'd go here. http://cube4you.com/cube4you-12-axis-core-p-128.html But you'd have to check your screws and see if they'll fit. The measurements are on the webpage.
As for the magic, I think speedcubeshop.com has magics for around $8. By the way, the Ghost Hand is a lot more sturdy than the Lingao.

EDIT: Nevermind, TheZcuber's are much cheaper, go for those. That's where I'll be going for my next magic. :P

I was wondering if there was a way to memorize algorithms faster. I was wondering if there's a way like playing the algorithms while you sleep or something lol

how to solve multiple 'stored' pieces when breaking a new cycle? do i solve them at the end of solve?
this is using op for bld

I have no clue what you mean.

To answer the latter part of your question, when you break into a new c ycle, as long as you finish the cycle back at that "spot", then it will solve the cycle.

also my shenshou 4x4 after lube feels really locky and bad, been working it in for a while

If it's the v3 just keep solving it. I've done about ~200 solves on mine and the locking is decreasing and I'm getting better at turning it smoothly and accurately.

I use COLL and then M slice algs for the edge permutations. If I wanted to count HTM or QTM in a solve, would turning the M slice be two moves or just one?
