Should I be afraid to make a thread?

Yes. People here are vicious and flame you if you post something that even slightly irritates them.

But on a more serious note, just post it if you like. If you can stand the flamers and petty people, then you might get something out of your thread.
If you need some help personally and are afraid to post, feel free to email me I'd be happy to help.

I have both a v1 and v2 MF8 Square 1. I really want to use the v2 but the U and D layers are so stiff, when I loosen the core to a stage where its usable I keep getting pops of the 30 degree edges when slicing.

Any experiences of this or suggestions?

is a cubetwist square 1 good?

I have been using reduction on 4x4 but i want to learn yau should I use yau or should I learn a different method that is faster. But yau seems very easy and i am still practicing to get faster but should I learn a faster method and if so then what method?

I got an avg5 sub 20 with cfop, but then i saw the zz method with 1lll i allready know 14 casses of the zzll, should i use zz or cfop? I'm very fast at learning the algs and i allready got a sub 20 with zz with oll and pll!, but that was lucky, because the eo was good
And should i learn to make the eo without F's on orange and red too, now i can only solve it with blue and green!
thx

Something tells me you do not quite understand ZZ just yet...

I solve with CFOP and when doing the first two layers, I tend to rotate the cube a decent amount of times and I don't think it affects me too much, but maybe I am just comfortable with it. When I look at say, Faz's WR videos, some of his solves include some cube rotations. So I am wondering if minimal cube rotations is a myth or is it just whatever you are comfortable with you should go with.

I prefer to solve the f2l on one colour, sometimes i use F turns, but not very often, but when there are B moves ibmake a cube rotation, i hate them!
