Yeah, you can take the backing off of them, and there are magnets underneath. At least, the one that I have can do that.
This has probably been asked before, but at about what times should someone start really practicing lookahead in CFOP?
P.s. I'm around 20-25 secs, and I have a lot of pauses in my solves.
For the core, I couldn't find a QJ one, but for just a spare megaminx core, I'd go here. http://cube4you.com/cube4you-12-axis-core-p-128.html But you'd have to check your screws and see if they'll fit. The measurements are on the webpage.
As for the magic, I think speedcubeshop.com has magics for around $8. By the way, the Ghost Hand is a lot more sturdy than the Lingao.
EDIT: Nevermind, TheZcuber's are much cheaper, go for those. That's where I'll be going for my next magic.
I was wondering if there was a way to memorize algorithms faster. I was wondering if there's a way like playing the algorithms while you sleep or something lol

To answer the latter part of your question, when you break into a new c ycle, as long as you finish the cycle back at that "spot", then it will solve the cycle.
If it's the v3 just keep solving it. I've done about ~200 solves on mine and the locking is decreasing and I'm getting better at turning it smoothly and accurately.
i dont want the first time i go to a comp to be the first time i use an official timer that uses both hands to start/stop the timer. and i downloaded CCT and it doesn't work on my comp. prisma puzzle timer doesn't work either. I don't really use QQtimer.
I use COLL and then M slice algs for the edge permutations. If I wanted to count HTM or QTM in a solve, would turning the M slice be two moves or just one?
