Should I have to sand down the core? I've had this cube for a while now, and it only started happening after I took it apart. If I loosen it, I still have the same problem, except it pops almost every time I turn it.

Are there any mods done to it?

Not really. I did like a ridiculously small v-5 mod on the corners once, but I barely even took any plastic off. I did that right when I got it though.

Does anyone know of any tutorials for the 4x4 showing methods that solve both the center and the edges at the same time? I found this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kgWnegzukE&feature=channel_video_title and I understand what's happening but not HOW. Does someone know of another video that explains this? Or could someone explain this method to me in text? thanks.

Interesting. Mind sharing what you use for that case then? I was just used to doing it because that is what I used to use for that OCLL when starting out fridrich and I never bothered looking for another. I know you can sub 2 all of yours.

I wouldn't recommend it but you can stick your thumb in and push as hard as you can. But last time I did that my cuticle got pushed back REALLY far. Sometimes it works but sometimes your finger slips and you push your cuticle back.

1) It's not in Baltimore.
2) Obviously people are going to the competitions. So your 2nd question is slightly stupid.

Turn the face of the pop 45 degrees, like you take out an edge of a 3x3, and use the edge of a screw driver to push it back in. It's really like fixing a small pop on a 3x3.
