Like I said, not really looking to spend a lot of time on this. I really just want something I can grab and maybe pretend to try to learn to pen spin lol

All I have to do for the telescopic pen is buy them and tape them together?

You could just take a bic roundstic and double cap it.
Or if you are really wanna get crazy you can take the inktube/tip from another bic roundstick and put it in the back end of the original to balance it.
Maybe even cut the long pieces off the cap! Woah!

But seriously that takes like 10 minutes if you have a couple lying around. They are cheap too and can be bought at most stores.

Answer to my question. Thanks

I just found a regular papermate black pen and cut off the long parts on the cap and I also found a pentel RSVP which I heard was decent. Suggestions?

Put a cap on the back of them to balance them. Doesn't need to look pretty if you are just starting.
You could also just use an unsharpened pencil.
With the RSVP you can make any of these mods if you find the right pens.

Just saw in the wiki that the alg for OLL2 was F (R U R' U') F' f (R U R' U') f'. Could this be changed to F (R U R' U') S (R U R' U') f'?

It could be indeed.

Which of the mods do you recommend? If I happen to find pens laying around in school I'll just grab them for a mod if it's simple.

For all you pen spinners, what's a good pen to use? I know I'll get some personal preference thing just like in cubing but there have to be some that are clearly better than others. Btw I'm not looking for a mod that I have to do just a pen I can buy. Something like what can be found on penwish

Dr kt, has great momentum and easy to spin. Also buster CYL as well

YOUR GOING INTO THE WRONG HOBBY. :(

I'm just starting to learn Full PLL.
I need tips on memorising them.
As in, what do I do to learn them?
Not how to learn the algs, but how to match the alg with that specific case.
Because I'm finding it very hard to tell if "That Specific Case" is for this alg.
Can you guys give me tips on memorising PLL Algs - Cases?

Is the Dr KT worth buying off penwish.com?

IMO you should start off with a cheap and light mod, like the RSVP MX or just a RSVP with the cap on the back (and removed inktube), Bictory works good too.
I recommend you to not start with a Buster or a KT, they will make you more dependent on weight, which can be a bad thing in the start, they're pretty expensive and cannot write
also, if you have a RSVP and a Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip then you can make a MX, also a random unsharpened pencil with some random grips on each side for weight will do too
I started with a pencil, but no grips, and then I moved over to a Ballsign mod with anyball grips only on each side, and I stuck with that for a while until I got some heavy mods (dr KT and heavier/longer) and got dependent on those, recently I moved over to one-sided writeable mods, like RSVP MX and Monami

If you cant find anything then its not too hard to build something yourself, connecting two identical pens into one will make a long pen good for training, I made a simple writeable 25 cm mods out of two impegas (got vid on youtube), so its not too hard, just get two pens, find a cylinder something that fits snuggly in the barrels (or use superglue) and there you have a good mod, hopefully kinda balanced too :)

Take your time to learn them and dont rush it.
work on 1 algorithm a day and do it over and over again.
when you wake up
next morning try to do it again without looking at the algorithm.

Where should I buy Lubix, and is it worth it?
You can purchase it on their website, lubixcube.com, or some of the mainstream US stores such as SpeedCubeShop and Cube Depot. I believe you can also get it on Cubesmith.

I personally think it's really expensive for just a tiny thing of lube, and even if it can lube 15 cubes or however much they advertise, you can get Maru lube or just plain silicone spray for cheaper and it lasts for much, much longer (my only vial of Maru lube, for instance, is halfway used and I've lubed many, many cubes with it; and with my silicone spray, it's the same story). I think that Lubix works well on certain cubes (Dayan GuHong is a good example), but for other cubes you might just as well lube it with something else that's cheaper (Maru or CRC) so in the end I would say it's not really worth it. I don't have the biggest cube collection (only 6 or so 3x3x3s) but I've used Lubix on a GuHong, a LingYun, an Alpha V, Alpha V-f, and an F-II but the only cube out of that set that I would feel like I couldn't make that good without Lubix was the GuHong. The other cubes I've lubed with Lubix are nice, but not amazing at all, and I feel that I could have achieved the same goodness with other lubricant (Maru or CRC). And I've got 2 GuHongs (one lubed with Lubix (the Ultimate GuHong (I got it for free, otherwise I probably wouldn't have bought it)) and the other without), and I still like the one without Lubix a lot.

Overall, if you want to try it out or if you have a billion GuHongs lying about, you should get it. Otherwise, just don't because it's too expensive when you can get cheaper, just as good alternatives.

Oh, and I don't mean to be hating on the Lubix company, what they're doing is great; I'm just saying that the prices are a bit too high for the quality of lubricant that you get.
