@Godmil - LOL, same Ns as me.

Is metronome practice a good way to improve F2L?

Actually, a metronome is how I got from 45 to sub 30 over the course of a week. lol

I still do an avg of 12 a week with increasing speeds from 60bpm to 120bmp and try to limit my delays as much as possible.
A metronome helps get rid of delays A LOT. but dont just turn one on, do one turn each beat, making your solve consistent. Like a 60bpm = 1 turn per second, and If you can do that with absolutely zero delays, then increase speed.

i maxed out on the metronome above without even trying and wonder if there is a better way to practice then with a metronome because even on max i was getting above 20 averages.

Should i leave my dayan guhong with only the lubix in it or should i put some lube on the outside too?

Add Lubix to the outside of the core too.
How far does your metronome go?

At that metronomes max, If you are turning one half turn each click, you should have 3.4 tps. Mean on a 80 move solve, a time around 23 seconds.
Considering most CFOP is ~65, that should be sub 20. And the metronome is for cross and F2L, once you hit OLL go like a normal solve. So your TPS should increase. meaning 40ish moves on metrenome, then OLL and PLL 15ish normal speed.

Also, note that, using a metronome there should be absolutely zero delays between cross and each F2L pair. So, I think you are doing it wrong, because if you can 3.4 TPS with zero delays, you should already be sub-20 and more.

EDIT: Another thing I do to help me F2L, is - immediately after an F2L pair insertion I close my eyes, and see if I can do anther pair without opening them, from what I saw before I closed them, If I cannot, I blink, and try again, and repeat until I can do it. These short flashes of the cube, train your brain to find pieces faster. It is well documented since I learned the technique from a speed reading program and applied it to the cube. I do eye-Q every day as well, to speed my brain up, lol.

This is pretty much exactly what I was going to say.

I got a master magic today and I left it in my room, untouched, I come back downstairs to find out that it was turned randomly by someone so I can't figure out how to get it to the "scrambled position." Does anyone have any tips on fixing this?

This is as close as I can get it:

From that position, fold it in half long ways(hotdog style), and then pick up the top section form the center and pull it all the way and fold it again, then unfold the hotdog fold. From the first fold it can be done two ways, the top over the bottom or the top under the bottom, only one way will allow you to spread it apart into a circle like thingy. then make the middle the ends and unfold.

If you happen to have a picture of what it is supposed to look like, It would make it easier.

I've had an idea in my head about a fully functional 3x3 thats also an mp3 player. So would it be possible to make?

Yes, a void cube plus this, cube player.

It will take some work, but I believe it can be done. lol, that player even has speakers.
I'm sure an Ipod nano or shuffle would work as well, but Apple could sue, plus you'll void your warranty. >.<

I also had an Idea to make a revolution fully functional by putting all the parts into a void cube, but couldn't find a place for the battery, lol.
