Does the always being able to solve the cross in 8 moves or less thing include the ADF (assuming cross on D)? I failed at answering my non-cuber friend today. xD
I orderd a haiyan off haiyans site, and i payed for 1 day shipping. This was back on thursday. I am kind of mad it stilll hasn't arrived yet. Does anyone know whats going on?

He probably hasn't shipped it yet. 1 day shipping means it will take 1 day to get to your house after he ships it, not that it will get to your house 1 day after you order it.
I'm looking for some fun facts about the cube for a possible TV interview this weekend.
Therefore i wonder i someone knows the answer to this:
If I turn one side one the cube every second and 24 hours a day, how long will it take me to find all possible positions on the cube?
I think i herd the answer to this sometime but cant remember it and i'm to lazy to calculate it

Where can I get a v-cube cheaper than at v-cubes website.
amazon has cheaper shipping (drops the price by like six dollars)
Not looking for a knock off, but a place that sells v-cubes cheaper than what verdes sells them for. (6x6-7x7

Wrong, the cross (correctly aligned) takes a total of at most 8 face turns to solve from any starting configuration of the cross edges. See: http://www.cubezone.be/crossstudy.html.
According to my calculations, for all of the 102 cases that take 8 face turns to solve, a relative cross can be completed in 7 face turns, except for 16 of those cases. These cases all have all the D-layer edges misoriented in the U layer (D sticker not facing up). Two cases are { UF, UL, UB, UR } positions contain (in that order) { FD, BD, LD, RD } or { FD, BD, RD, LD }. The other cases are rotations and/or mirrors of these 2. To solve these 16 cases in 8 face turns requires them to solved directly without an ADF at the end.

a couple q's
1) I just learned roux about 2 weeks ago, and I'm averaging about 58-65 seconds. I still slow down when paring my edge/corner pieces for creation of my blocks. I just have a difficult time visualizing where the piece needs to be in order for me to pair it correctly. Are there any excersizes that will help me to start recognizing the patterns a little easier or will it just come in time the more I solve?
2) Could someone post a link to a page that shows megaminx notation and maybe a simple tutorial? I'm getting one for Christmas and have only been able to find video tutorials so far and would really like a text based one.
Some people can do ortega quicker than CLL, but using CLL will probably show quicker improvement for most. Most people, as they advance in 2x2x2, go on this route: LBL>Ortega>CLL>EG.
