Would it be possible to design a cube using the 3d program Blender and animate it , showing how it would look and turn once its acctually built in real life?

Is there a good video on youtube which goes through the problem cases for the 6 edges at once method on the 4x4x4?
I've watched a bunch, skipped to the end to be disappointed each time.

I need one of those too. I wanna try it out.

I use 2 pairing and I average 1:45.

All purely look ahead? I guess i just need a lot of practice.

What are your opinions on a guhong ghosthand2 cross breed? I'm not talking about a hybrid. More like a guhong with the cubies with ridges like the ghosthand. I like the way the guhong cuts and never locks but i love the feel of the ghosthand. It's got this ultra light airy feel to it. I'd really like that feel on the guhong.

Also, the guhong hurts :( it's sharp! My fingers start getting sore after about 8 to 10 solves. I'm thinking of sanding them but it'll ruin the look. Any suggestions?

Idk what you would call what I use (it's basically 3/4 pairing), and I average a bit faster than that. Lookahead is probably less important for someone using this than it is for someone using 1 or 2 paring.

I've never used a GH but I think you just described the LingYun

What is a good 4x4x4 method for someone who averages about 25s on a 3x3x3? I currently average about 3:30 on a 4x4x4 and i don't know why :fp

I use Cinema4D, and I'm pretty sure it could be done without any problems in that, so it should be possible in Blender... just as long as you can select multiple objects (cubies) and define their center of rotation.

Any tutorials on this?

Not really. You should get yourself a Ghost Hand - II. It's only like $5 anyway. Besides, for that price, it's a kickass cube.
I'm talking about a guhong shaped like the GH-II on the outside and with these ripple things on the pieces. It gives the GH-II a very airy feel.

I pair one edge at a time on 4x4 and I averaged 1:40 on my last average, is this rubbish?
My Look-Ahead sucks when pairing more than one edge. D:
Like, WTH?

I use 2pair and my pb ao5 is around 1:03. It's definitely possible to sub-50 with it, but a lot of look ahead and practice is required.

I am practicing my F2L lookahead right now and right now, I kind of follow a corner and edge when I am putting another one in and most of the time, I don't need to pause to find it again, but it still doesn't work 100% of the time, do you have any tips? I also tried doing it at 40 bpm using a metronome like Chris Hardwick suggested in some thread I found a while back but it feels really slow doing it that way. I was also wanting to learn some F2L algorithms, I average almost 40s right now, should I bother at this level or just keep practicing lookahead? If I should, what algorithms should I learn?

It's a good habit. Work on it more. For your f2l algs, don't actually roat them. Just use them as guidelines. Check out the algs for the cases where the pair is already ready in the top layer but it's all mis oriented. You could also go ahead and check out zbf2l. Also, if you're using a metronome, i'd suggest increasing the tempo with time.
