Well, there's OLL and PLL. OLL gives you the a solid colour on the top face. PLL will move the cubies around to solve the rest of the cube.
the first step would be to 2 look OLL and 2 Look PLL, giving you 4 look last layer. 2 looks, means you do a total of 2 algorithms for each step (OLL and PLL)
Search youtube for 2 look oll and pll tutorials. For 2LOLL you orient the edges, then the corners, in to seperate algs. For 2LPLL, you permute (move to correct place) corners, then edges.
yes i know 2oll but can't understand 2pll so working on it .
Can anyone post some good finger trick tutorial vid? there are too many to choose from youtube
Thanks for this, I'll use it to finish the 3x3x3 rubenking (4 color scheme). Is there another more effective way to turn the centers in a solved state?
5 corners, 5 edges. 5!*5!/2 permutations. 3^4*2^4 orientations.
\( \frac{5!^2*3^4*2^4}{2} \)
No symmetry reductions since the F2L slot removes the possibility of an AUF.
Punch that into WolframAlpha or something, I've gotta run to class.
