I've made the decision that I'd like to "get into" and learn to solve Rubik's cubes. Now I'm sure everyone has said this and never gone through with it, but I feel I'm determined to do so (if that matters to anyone).
I have a 3x3x3 cube, but it is really old. My dad had it when he was a kid and he's 42 years old, so I really don't want to use it. I fear that I might want to lube it up one day and try to pop out one of the pieces and crack it and ruin the cube.
My question is, as a beginner, would buying the "Cube4you 3x3x3 Speed Cube" (link is -
http://www.cube4you.com/461_Cube4you-3x3x3-Speed-Cube(Porcelain-White).html) be a good idea for a beginner?
As of now, I cannot solve 1 side of a cube. I've tried doing so without looking up any guides or anything like that, and I find it doesn't work going at it without any knowledge of how to do it.
Thank you for reading my post and any help is appreciated!
