I've been using the beginner LBL method for pyraminx for a long time now, and I average around 13-14 seconds. I think its probably time to learn a new method if i want to get much faster, what methods are the best pyraminxers using these days? If you could post a tutorial too, that'd be nice (:

Here is a list of most of the methods. I use oka, tho I forgot which one is the "Keyhole" version. I haven't messed with my pyraminx in a while. Even still, with LBL I was around 22ish. and With Oka it took me a day to get to 15s.

I'm thinking of going to my first competition. On wca site it says if I'm under the age of 18 I need parental permission, so do I have to bring my parents with me to the competition to register or if I want to pre-register online, do I still need their permission?

So even if I do register online, I should take a parent with me? I know a few of my friends that plan on volunteering so for sure I won't be going alone.

which is the better way to become color neutral, one color at a time or all at once?
I know some people use a 1x1, and just roll to see what color they should start the cross on. If you don't have a 1x1 you can use a dice too, and use numbers to correspond to the colors. (1 is white, 2 is orange.. etc etc.)

All colors at once. The best time to learn color neutrality is when you first learn to solve it (if you use a cross based method, such as layer by layer). If not, then start becoming cn when you first learn CFOP. If you already know cfop, and is decent with one cross, then you can't go back to your humble beginnings. Doing CN all colors at once will closely replicate this. Start off by doing some cn cross solves first, and then some cn solves slowly, but smoothly.

I personally don't agree with this. It just seems to defeat the purpose of color neutrality when you're forced to start on a certain color, even if it's not white.

By all at once, just solve for cross only on a color that looks the most complete already.

Does anyone have a printable Clock insert? The print on my clock is crooked and on occasions leads me to believe a corner is solved...when it's one tick off...I need to print off a new one so this doesn't happen...

For doing the cross, when getting a case where 3 pieces are solved, and the piece (orange-white) that is not solved is in the front-top position. Solving for white, and white of the edge is facing you, orange on top. The orange center is below the white part of the edge. Is this what most people would do/is this the fastest way to insert it?: U' x R' U R If not, what is a better way? Thanks.
