Don't listen to this guy. He obviously doesn't know what he's talking about.
Yes, you are allowed to sell them. VCUBES officially released a statement saying that as of Jan1st, 2011 they are making no claims against Dayan or Maru.

What is the best/easiest way to get as much silicone residue off a cube as possible?
So that basically the cube is as close to new, lubricant wise, as it can get.

I never did understand SS. lol. The wiki says its 60 without reflections, thats 20 more than CLL. From what I understand, its 3/4 face, orient 5 corners, PBL.
Isnt that guimond?
Is SS better than CLL, I thought CLL/EG was the fastest?

I clean my cubes by putting the cubies in hot water (as hot as the tap will go) and scrubbing each individual one with a soapy toothbrush. Then hand dry.
But if that doesn't work and you really want to get that lube off, I've seen people put cubies in a strainer in boiling water and just shake it around for a few minutes, then hand dry.
Or you could try putting it in the dishwasher. I've done this with a lot of my 3x3x3s (no core, just the cubies) and nothing catastrophic has happened, and the stickers remain in the same condition. (in my past experience)

No, guimond uses opposite colors, not just 1 color. So then you have a separation step as well.
I think SS should potentially be as fast as CLL. It's nice because the first step is less than 1 move on average, so you can almost always predict 2nd step, then just recognize a pbl.
My magic all of a sudden became loose and the strings would go out of place if I tried to solve it quickly. Does this happen often and is there a way to fix it or make the magic a bit tighter?

I had this happen once. You could restring(labor intensive, need new strings), buy a new one(recommended), and I tried freezing it, it worked slightly, but not much.
also, IMO the LA magics are way better than rubik's brand.

forgot the opposite color part. :fp been a while since I even thought about guimond. less than one move? so what? an eight turn? lol
Just did 12 3/4 faces 0-zero moves 3-one moves 5-2moves 4-3moves.
CLL has its advantages, with enough practice you can predict the case as well, and with CLL, COLL recog on 3x3 will be pretty easy and you will already have some COLL-CLL algs that work both ways.
But SS is kinda like CLS from MGLS, so I guess it depends on which you'd rather learn, IMO.
Also guimond may be opposite colors, but it is like 20 algs, and the color part can be done in 3 move, so like half a second.
Because of lubix viscosity, it is good for the core. But yes, you can lube the core with other lubes, but the difference it will make will vary depending on the lube.
