Yay Ryan!
You're doing M the way I taught you. :D
I'll record what can be done with that style now, for emphasis on how much I like it.

Yeah , as of like a week or two ago I got so mad at my fail M turning during OLL that I decided to force mysef to do M that way, it improved my OLL/PLLs with M's in it by

"What PLLs do you use Ms for mainly? Algs to."
Will post algs later.
3 OLL, a few more ELL
Z, H, U, U

"bahaha I love how you can hear you breathe deep sometimes in the video near the end."
Recorded with camera in mouth.

so far i use Ms in OLLs 3 4 19 20 and H perm, I use the 2 gen Us and a weird Z perm.
I can sub 2 all of those. and i can finnd the algs in the wiki later on if i need to learn them.

What is the difference between the FI and the FII?
And again, what is the best mini 3x3, alpha, type c, Qj, etc.

Personal preference. Buy them all and test them out.

How do you guys do M turns with fingertricks? I've been practicing M' for a couple of days now and it feels really natural :) I just can't seem to do the M turn quickly and comfortably.
Use the index finger to push on the BU sticker.

Question 1: The F-I dies out really fast. Get the F-II.
Best mini 3x3: Micro Alpha (47mm) or Alpha Mini (57mm)

This is the last time I ask this question I promise, but which is the best mirror blocks on Lightake. Some have codes for companies that arnt on the table on the Lightake thread.

Please If you own a mirror blocks from lightake and its bad tell me which one it was.

If you own one that's good tell me which one it was.

I just dont want to get a really poppy one which strikes me as quite likely considering the low price.

(and no I'm not buying them all just to see!)

Thanks!

I've recently learnt badmephito's intuitive F2L, as predicted my solve went from 1 minute to 4 minutes. After 5 solves it was down to 2 minutes and after another hour's work I had it down at 1:20. I've been at it 2 days now and can't seem to get it any quicker. Will it eventually get below a minute? How long roughly did it take you to get your F2L time quicker than your beginner method? Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

I own the original rubiks version, and it never pops, i cant even get it apart without it feeling like its going to break.

lightake

IF you live in the US here is a cheap alternative

But i love my rubiks brand, just needs new stickers atm.

ah it took me like a week of barely no practice so maybe a few more days it really jst coes down to getting more effecient nce you pass sub 40 (and tps a bit) but stick with it and i swear itll pay off in the long run

oh btw in comp for megaminx is it mean of three or avg of 5 or what?

Just a GuHong and it feels sketchy. It's plenty fast, but not particularly smooth, and seems to lock up a bit. Will tightening the tension help (it's pretty loose right now)?

And what can i do to specifically practice F2L?
It takes me about 20 seconds to solve the cross and f2l :/

there is nothing better than brute practice. But though it seems counter-intuitive, turn more slowly even though you are trying to do it faster. When you are turning more slowly it becomes easier to look ahead. Try to find the next corner and edge while you are still solving the current pair.

@ubercuber

ehh, I dont play video games. :P

for OLL, just group then in sub groups as shapes, link here
and some good algs are here They also group the OLLS into sub catagories,
Im learning the OLLS from that site but am grouping them by shapes

@flan your welcome

@dt21yts3

do this 5-10 minutes a day. It helped me with my look ahead alot, and like uber said slow down until delays are minimal. After leanring 2LOLL algs i learned the dot algs. and still use 2look for the ones I dont know.
