When going color neutral should i start tryihg to be CN with 2 opposite colors like white and yellow or just start doinge very side whenevr I see the optimal cross?

I can't really tell you how to go colour neutral now because I just starting of doing it but I also just did the best cross I could see. I never worked my way there. But in your case I am not really sure how good you are at recognising the different colours.

I have around an average of 1 minute. I just started the 2-look PLL/OLL, and my times are relativly similar to the LBL steps. I havn't memorized all the OLL/PLL cases because I'm that lazy. I also usethe keyhole method. Is there any hel I can get for the f2l fridrichs method. I just need a few cases so I can shave off "x" seconds. thanks for the help!

Don't really understand your question. Look up f2l on youtube if you want to learn it.

My question is:
What exactly is color neutrality and what are methods of going color neutral?

Thanks y3k9 first of all, I appreciate your time. I have looked on youtube and sit there scratching my head because the video doesnt explain it well enough for me. I'm just looking for like 3-5 cases of the corner piece and 2nd layer piece with algs so I can shave off "x" seconds. IF you know where I can get a printable or nonprintable scenario sheet, that would be wonderful. thanks.

Well, as I understand it now, you want the algrithoms for the cases? Well, just so you know you can do it all intuively. If you don't want to here are some sites:

Colour neutral is where you start on the colour that has the best cross first. So you can solve the cube using any colour cross.

If you don't start being colour neutral right from the beginning you will have to learn to do the cross on your opposite colour first. I'm assuming you use white cross so this means you learn how to do a solve starting with the yellow cross. You can keep practising the yellow cross until it is just about the same speed and then you can move onto a different colour and just keep repeating that process

Thanks I'll check those out. Me + intuitive = braincrash. I've adapted the LBL and the OLL/PLL because I cant memorize all those cases, I just solve the top for the OLL/PLL using the Ri Di R D unless I have the one case that I memorized. Thanks again!

Ok, that's what I thought it was. Thanks, I'll do it that way. Do I need to start off with the cross then f2l, then ll?

Edit:

That's not recommended, it is very slow. I use 2-look pll/oll. You should do the same.

I'm not really sure as I started with being colour neutral but finding the cross should be easy on any colour, so I would practice doing the solves slow first so you can get use to looking ahead at a different colour and then increase your speed when you can find the corner and edge piece easily

How long (about) does it take a semi-dedicated cuber to get below a 40 second solve normally? I cube around maybe 30 minutes total a day when I have stuff to do. Around an hour of solid cube solving (about a minute sovle each) when I have a lazy day.

It took me about a month probably, but I wasn't that into it, I just cubed maybe about 15 minutes whenever I was bored. I've seen other people take only 2 weeks. I guess it varies.

It varies, I still 45-55 sec myself. Just practice on http://mzrg.com/qqtimer/ . And learn some new algrithoms and fingertricks.

Eventually I'll pick up those other scenarios, but I have to read a book for school (fml) so I can't dedicate my brain to all those cases. My Eastsheen 4x4x4 should be here come my birthday (dec 1) I'm pretty excited for it. Do you own any Eastsheens? If so, are they decently fast? It's white aswell.

Eastsheens are pretty bad compared to the good 4x4's. They wear out quickly and go very loose but are decent until then
