I'm learning a few tricky algs for F2L. I have a sheet of all 42 (I think it's 42) cases and I'm checking off which ones I've gone over and which ones I can do rotationless. Problem is, I'm not sure what the best way is to test that I've memorized the algs. I've tried seeing if I could randomly encounter one in a practice solve but there are too many cases and not all of them pop up most of the time.. Should I just keep practicing solves over and over or should I tackle each case one by one?

..Also, wasn't there a thread for F2L?

Maybe just learn the cases a bit more quickly and do loads of solves. When solving, actively look for scenarios and cases that you do recognise and then solve them.

Also, this where intuitive F2L is better. It teaches you a few techniques that can be applied to any situation and that allows you to improve a lot quicker and practice cases a lot more.

So, for a school project, I decided I would set a goal to be sub-25, is this reasonably accomplishable? I currently use intuitive F2L, 2-look OLL and PLL, and I am currently learning all PLL's (I know about 5).

Definitely! Just practice a crap ton, and learn full PLL. I think I got down to averaging 21 just with that, and I still only know like 2/3 of the OLLs. Good luck!

what are differences performance and feeling wise between the weilong v2 and aolong v2
I know it depends on how you lube wnd tension it
but I'm trying to decide between the two

Thanks

The weilong is definitely a lot faster than the aolong. The aolong is also less stable feeling than the weilong

which one is smoother? which do you prefer
Lol I might just get both :p but i don't want to get 2 cubes and only use 1 seems like a waste of money but how else will I decide between the two
