URGENT ABOUT SHIPPING

I recently just ordered from cubezz and I misspelled my shipping address! They have probably shipped the package now.
I have contacted them and currently waiting for a reply.
What are they chances of them redirecting the package after shipment??

Close to zero, if the spelling has very little error it will find its way home.

would the gap in speed between a rubik's brand and a better cube like the aolong (or zhanchi or weilong or *insert cube of your choice here) increase or decrease depending on how fast you are?
For example if you are sub 10 on your main cube would the difference be more less or about the same switching to a rubik's brand than if you could only average a minute?
i hope that made sense sorry if it didnt!

Most people who are over a minute are still wrist turning anyway, so in that example I would say it would affect the sub-10 person more. But after you start fingertricks, probably it would affect most people the same percentage-wise

I agree with obelisk, more or less. I you are slow (over a minute) you are not gonna take a lot of advantage of the good, fast cube anyway so perhaps you will get a marginal improvement with the speed cube but it definitely won't reduce your times by half. But if you are a very good speedcuber (under 10 seconds)... please somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I can't see even Felix doing a sub-ten with an out-of-the-box old rubik's brand (not the new ones which are a bit better or the new rubik's speedcube).

Just as a reference. My full-step PB is 16.8x and, out of curiosity, I did a dozen solves with my old rubik's cube and got a 24.4x. Let's say, if I did an Ao100 or two I could perhaps do a 20 or 21 at best.

ok, thank you everyone! I average about a minute, with a PB of 49 seconds but i do fingertricks, just my cube locks up constantly (and i need to work on my look ahead/recognition/blahblahblah) and one last thing, for R/R' and L/L' do you guys turn your wrist for them?

If your cube locks up constantly, get a new (and good) cube, like a DaYan GuHong v2 or a FangShi Shuangren v2. Or a YJ GuanLong if you don't want to spend much.

I think everyone does R/R'/L/L' with their wrists; using your fingers wouldn't be practical.

Help with big cubes!

Hey guys,
I've been having trouble with the 'bigger' cubes like 4x4, 5x5, and 6x6. I can do the centers well enough and the 3x3 well too... but I'm having trouble with edges. I use 3-2-2-2-3 for 4x4 and free-slice for 5x5 and 6x6. I Know how everything works and stuff like that, but I am very bad with recognition. I'm not sure what to do about that. I am learning look-ahead for 3x3 but is there anything to do for the 'bigger' cubes?
Thanks so much
Jesse

My advice is to switch to Yau for 4x4, and watch these videos for 5x5, 6x6 and 7x7:

Yes, learn Yau or Hoya for 4x4, if not at least try it. For bigger cubes, you use look ahead just like during 3x3, except more. Learn to look for and save pairs while you are completing one pair, and then be able to plan which pair to do next. One thing that helps me in 5x5 edge pairing is unless I see a ridiculously easy pair, I always pair the white first, so that I am not overwhelmed and am able to just focus on a certain color. The bigger the cube, the harder it is to look ahead while edge pairing, but it still is used for 6x6+. Watch Kevin Hays' 5x5 and 6x6 example solve, and tips and tricks videos. They really helped me. Good luck!
